Sometimes you will eat anything because you are hungry.I just had the worst pizza I have ever eaten. A 10" $3 frozen pie from the grocery store would have been a lot better. With the cost of food and restaurant prices so high today, why would someone risk bad customer experiences by serving old stale pizza dough. The pie we received (14" pepperoni and sausage) was old, very old. The crust had the texture of stale saltine crackers, flat, tough and dry.I ran pizza joints 45 years ago, I know what happens to a dough that sets out for over 24 hours. You would think that when you get an old dough, you would toss the pie and start with fresh, before you waste sauce, cheese and meats.Antonio's is known for making a good pie, I have had many. There is no excuse for serving something with old, dry, stale crust.Poor effort, lousy pie. Shame on Antonio's for being so lazy.

The WORST Italian food ever tasted.- Sicilian pizza-very sweet sauce, dough also didn’t fully rise.- penne allá vodka- didn’t taste as it supposed to. Also sweet to taste and pasta cooked too long as it was very soft- Caesar salad with grilled chicken- grilled chicken is comparable to dried chicken dog treats. Croutons are poor quality. This is a poor quality “ Italian” restaurant.

10/10. My husband ordered last night, I’m always weird about Italian because it’s never done right so I didn’t order. I took a bite of his and oh my gosh! Made him order it again today for my lunch and dinner. The portions are huge. We got the chicken parm, comes with Italian bread & a salad. The breading is to die for. Definitely recommend to everyone to try!

Really can't recommend this place for the food. There are MUCH better pizza places. I also cannot speak for anything but the pizza. But, I can attest that the service is excellent. And it's quick. If you want this style food, and your not near your favorite place, it's acceptable and affordable. I wouldn't drive there to get this pizza though.

Ordered the $12.95 Calamari and basically got a salad with what seems to be a calamari afterthought. Once you move the 13 or so rings over you are blessed with practically a whole tomato several slices of onion and a half a bag of ready mix Romain from food lion. The copious amount of marinara sauce is almost an insult to the so few number of actual calamari in the dish. A dollar a ring and a bag of salad.

First time I ordered here. It was a long delivery wait and the food was near room temperature when receiving. But, once we all had a bite of the Stromboli it made my mouth so happy it was worth it. There’s not a lot of places in Norfolk that care to make a mouth watering Stromboli. The meats and veggies I chose were diced so you get a little bit of each ingredient on your fork. And that makes for a wonderful flavor explosion in your mouth. The pizza is also spot on New York style. Thin and huge and yummy! Definitely will be back. Can’t wait to try more on the menu. Great job!!!!

The pizza is phenomenal. I also ordered an eggplant parm pasta dinner which I haven't tried yet but with how amazing the pizza is I highly doubt I will be at all disappointed. 100% recommend. Whether you are a local or a vacationer.. this is going to be my new go to pizza shop! The best pizza I think I've ever had in my entire life.Phenomenal. Delicious. Outstanding.

Had the white pizza one time which was absolutely delicious. Ordered take out pepperoni pizza and was very disappointed. My favorite thing when ordering pizza is the leftovers and eating a cold slice for breakfast. Could even save the pizza. Too soggy and salty. In the trash it went. First time ever throwing pizza away, but I was very disappointed with this.exlerience. I won't be back

First time eating here tonight & it was the best meal I’ve had in a really long time. I’m from Knoxville TN so I don’t have a lot of exposure to Italian food in general but I know when something tastes great and Antonio’s is AMAZING. The cooks were fast. The people at the front checked my order and noticed a mistake & promptly fixed it with out me having to point it out. All very friendly as well. The shop is a little run down BUT it’s homey and comfortable. I highly recommend eating here!

Excellent food!!! The portions were large and very fresh. Very reasonable prices. Large selection. Much better than Olive Garden. Quite family style place. It could use some renovations but who cares once you eat the food????? even the leftovers were great the following night ?????
