Started off with another customer trying to get a refund from the manager over the phone and from that already had bad feeling. Our wing order got messed up(recommend reading your receipt after ordering) wrong flavor and supposed to be boneless. The fries were warm which was expected as I saw them pulled out of a warmer oven. See no reason way they can't be fried at the same time as wings. There was no management inside so workers just standing around not doing anything. First and last time at this location if we ever try another one. No going back to complain or ask for refund due to a gut feeling the manager(I suspect is franchise owner or relative of) would try to weasel out of it.
They were quick with my order but my boneless wings were awful. It wasn't even covered in the wing sauce that I had ordered. By the time I ordered them and got home, it was too late and I was tired. The only reason 3 start is I love their fries, the ranch dressing and the bleu cheese dressing.
Made two orders, wings and fries are cold. First order is the picture attached- sauce not even on all the wings. The second order was disgusting as well, taste like someone threw pepper all over the wings. Everything had to be thrown away. Would not recommend.
We waited 58 minutes for the food to come out the dang on warmer. Nothing was fresh. When I asked for fresh fries, the lady said ok. I literally waited 20 additional minutes while looking at them give everyone fresh fries. I approached the desk and asked for a refund for the fries. And was told I couldn't get a refund because there wasn't a manager on duty. This was the poorest service ever received. I will never go back here again.
I went to a wingstop across from Southern shopping center in Norfolk and was extremely pleased with the service and food, however whenever I go to the wingstop in Newport News, customer service is rude, they always tell you to order online, you can't order in the store and when I ordered the 24 wing family meal in Norfolk I got the wings, fries and celery of which I Never got when I ordered at the Newport News location. I wish didn't have to give a star
Poor costumer service, the guy worked in the kitchen flipped me off while I was just standing and waiting for my food. Tried to talk to the manager, would not admit it and would not do anything about it, the guy ran out from the kitchen and scream “f u” to us for two times and the manager still would not admit he said that. Will never come back to this location.
Recently ordered buffalo “thighs” for takeout. They were overcooked, crispy, and hard. I found the hot sauces were really tart/sour. The food was actually bad enough where I was unable to finish and had to throw it out in the end. Disappointed by this location and I hope they improve.
I ordered the Buffalo and BBQ thighs on a very busy game night. They warned me it would be about a 30 min wait but my food still came out quickly and before time. I ordered a family meal with 15 thighs and fries and the food was good.No complaints here. Wingstop is one of the better wing spots in the area as far as chain restaurants.
I placed an online order for pickup. The wings were OK but small, and I did not get any of my sides that I paid for. Employees were standing around idle when I arrived and there were no other customers, but not one bothered to greet me for several minutes. When I got home and realized half of my food was missing I tried to call the restaurant several times but no one bothered to answer the phone. I made a complaint to corporate on the company website but no one has bothered to respond. I feel robbed after spending $37 with tax for 24 wings, or $1.54 per wing.
Hmmm.. why can’t I give them zero stars. Where do I begin? The Fries were cooked in old grease. The portion of the fries were equivalent to a happy meal at McDonalds. I asked for half lemon pepper, half hot and received hot with lemon pepper covered in hot sauce. I can’t make this up. The cashier never greeted me. She was busy with her phone conversation??. I’m over it! 18 bucks down the drain. I should’ve know when there were no customers in the lot on a Saturday night. Save yourself the disappointment people!
