Not as bad as the other one in town, but still not good. Wendy's newest commitment to hot and crispy fries doesn't exist in Newport News apparently. Fries were lukewarm and not fresh, the oil wasn't clean either. You know when the oil stains the food that it's passed when it should have been changed. Food quality was meh, I got nuggets and they weren't old but they weren't remotely fresh either. The service wasn't particularly friendly, and I personally won't be returning.

I ordered two grilled asiago ranch chicken sandwiches no tomato. I have no idea what these sandwiches are that I received. The grilled chicken is right but that's it. No cheese, no bacon, no ranch x 2. Those aren't cheap sandwiches I ordered either. Maybe you were all preoccupied with the 20 meal order going on inside. This place was great when I first starting coming here but it's getting pretty consistent that something's wrong with my order and thankfully I get to find out after I've driven all the way home. What did I even get?

Worst customer service. One lady had a nasty attitude. There was no sign on the door that said the dining area was closed. Walked in and waited to order. She said to get out and we had to go through the drive thru. Waited and ordered 3 meals. My mistake I needed 4. I asked to place another order of the same item the 4 for 4 while I was at the window. The cashier didn’t have a problem but the older lady must of been the manager said no and to go through the line again. It was busy and that was ridiculous.

Major let down! We had went for a walk to enjoy the nice weather and decided to stop in Wendy's for a bite of lunch. We walked in preparing to order when we were met by a lady behind the register who rudely informed us that the store was for take out and foor dash only. No signs on the doors, no I'm sorry but...just a rude young lady telling us we couldn't order....Bad experience.

Need to work on their customer service skills, I set for 10 mins. before the person at the window took my order. 10 mins.is to long to wait to be served at the drive thru.

Husband was trying to order food and his voice was about gone from being sick. Whoever was taking our order, was very rude and said in a very rude tone “I don’t understand what you’re saying, what about it?” When referring to what he was trying to saying, while he was struggling to talk. Learn how to talk to people in an appropriate manner. No reason to have a certain tone when you can’t understand someone.

Lines are super long and they move slow. I recommend going to another one. This one has messed up on my food and money several times in the past.

Waited at the speaker forever. When the person finally popped back up to take our order there was giggling in the background from other staff which is fine, but after placing only part of our order they popped back up having not even processed what was said, while making joking jabs back at a coworker and asking for a repeat. They clearly were not in work mode at all and did not care to be helping us, so we left.

I'm pleased & grateful for the friendly service and fresh prepared food. Thank you for your service in working hard even during a pandemic when fast food places are very short staffed.

I stopped in at this location on December 1rst 2021, on my way back from Fredericksburg Va. to grab a quick bite. I Usually don’t eat burgers anymore however, I was tired and hungry. I was heading back home to Norfolk after a long day of training with my job. I ordered a burger and fries and when I got it everything appeared to be ok but my entire order smelled like hair grease. I have four sisters and I recognized the smell right away. This is very unsanitary.Please do something about this.
