I ordered shirmp hibachi and miso soup via DD pickup. SO GOOD. The shrimp in my dish were big and delicious. The vegetables tasted fresh, the rice was good too. Everything had great flavor. Admittedly, I'm normally hard to please when it comes to food, especially Asian style food. I am overall impressed with my first order from Volcano.
Do not eat at this place. We use to eat here often but. Last week my son got sick after eating the Shrimp and Chicken Hibachi. Then we tried it again yesterday and he got sick again and was throwing up again. My daughter said she had the chicken and it taste like you were chewing a rubber band. She stopped eating here too. I would not recommend they are not cleaning their food properly or something. You can go in so I'm not sure how the place looks inside you have to get it from the window. This is the location in Newport News Va.
Great tasting food, really large portions for the price. Ginger salad dressing was a little disappointing - seemed to be missing something in its flavor - maybe more peanut oil or sesame oil or soy sauce? But hibachi chicken and veggies are delicious. Simple fried rice is good - added some teriyaki sauce to give it some more flavor. Forgot to get pic of gyoza, but they are pretty good but a bit pricy.
We eat here every few weeks from work. Delicious, fresh food. If you like spicy you have to ask but great flavors with the veggies
Food is ok. Yum yum sauce I actually liked (not a fan of most). Wait for food was not long. Will return.
Been going here for a couple of years. Sushi and hibachi are always great. After reading the recent reviews about the service I was nervous to place an order but I’m glad I did! Got my takeout order quickly and the staff was friendly!
Horrible customer service and barely know or understand English. When I called to correct issues the lady hung up the phone and never answered when I called back. Never raised my voice or anything, but she just kept repeating herself over and over as if it was the only English sentence she knows. Just talked to a friend that ate there recently and was told to just count the order as a lost they are horrible with customer service and not the most sanitary place of establishment. Knowing that I guess I can count this as my blessing in disguise! If I could rate without stars I for sure would!!!
took too long, and was pretty gross. worst hibachi and sushi i’ve ever had, definitely wouldn’t recommend. toyko express is better
As a third party delivery driver. This place is slow when it comes to preparing orders. If it was few times I get it. But this location it’s a constant thing. Came here from Yorktown 15 mins it took me. And they said it will take a other 20 mins to get it ready
