We( husband and I,) went there Friday evening . The waitress was extremely busy but handled the pressure professionally and warmly. The service was great and the food even better! I had a cheesesteak he had the beef Bulgogi and we shared chili cheese fries. We will be back.

Food was excellent, I've been eating there since 04' I moved to Fredericksburg 10 years ago, so when I come down to see my parents I need, and have to come here to get 1 or 2 CheeseSteaks before I head back home ???, food has always been great!!!!
This is the best cheese steak place I have found in Newport News... I had one today for the first time and now myself and my family are customers for life... It was so good I forgot to take a photo for y'all... It was a good size sub, great price and worth every penny ?
I drive for Grubhub and i've been to many Philly style Cheesteak shops. I have had a hit or miss experience with most of them. Decided to give Straight Outta Philly a shot. I can tell you that I had a very good experience with the Service the food was good, though the fries could be seasoned more and more of it...but other then that I would rate them better then some of their contempories.
Well I finally finally made it here to eat. And yes the seafood Philly was so good! I wish they were on every corner like a convient store! I will definitely be going out of my way to go here over the other places in the city. And the food was made fast and it was hot. Loved it so much I was thinking about the second half all night?
Now this one is a no-brainer this is the best Philly cheese steak sub shop on the Seven Cities except for it's competition which would be subway station in Hampton but I'm telling you in Newport News Philly Straight Out of Philly has the best Philly cheese steak sandwiches and chili of anywhere it within 20 miles I won't go anywhere else for a grub steak sandwich off the grill do yourself a favor get the Midnight Special with capicola ham you better be hungry though and the prices aren't that bad this is why I gave Straight Out of Philly 5 Stars it's on order Oyster Point Road right across from Hoss's Deli
The only good thing was the service. The Philly was the worst Philly I've ever had, the fries were good.
I love the bulgogi and Mandu!!! ? If it was a little bit cheaper I'll eat it everyday. But it's worth the money in my opinion
Always a good experience at this establishment. They have the best food and hospitality. We always get the Philly cheese steak subs and are never disappointed. I tried the hot and spicy philly cheese this time and it was the best. I have found my new favorite sub! The cheese fries were good too. I had the onion rings and they weren't to good but overall we are always satisfied.
