Waitstaff friendly but slow, took forever to place orders, then came back several time after a long time to tell us, "we're out of that," including beer. They ran out of the basics, so we had to order non-BBQ meals. Could have gone anywhere and got that. It took forever. Food was good, but not exceptional. For the time, trouble, expense, you'd do better elsewhere.
Good food, great service and cool space. Large place with plenty of seating available indoor and on their patio. Visited multiple times and was busy everytime but everything moved quick to be seated and fed. Service was very friendly and attentive. Place smells delicious from the moment you pull into their lot (smoke house deliciousness). They offer brick oven pizza that you can see being made in their patio, perhaps next time will have to try that. Recommend a visit
Everything was good except the brisket. The brisket was dry and tough. The cheese sticks were great. The collard greens were made perfect. My daughter really enjoyed the pull pork. They also have great ribs.
The baby back ribs were dry and burnt and the chicken was bland and under cooked I will never come here for BBQ again.
In from out of town. Asked a local where to get a good burger that wasn't a chain. They sent us to smoke. It was a fantastic burger- but if you are looking for lots of choices when it comes to your burger this isn't it. It's the usual things for a burger. I felt prices and portions were good. Fried pickles were very good. Generous portions. Server was OK. Very friendly but seemed to have most of restaurant on her plate. Would return
I stopped in with family and friends for lunch and had the best barbecue I've eaten in a very long time. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was overloaded with tender and flavorful pork and chose the smoky sweet barbecue sauce to top it along with the slaw. Loved every bite. I added a side of the best collard greens I've ever tried - both in texture and flavor. My friends also enjoyed their Smoke Master and Pork BBQ Entrees. The waiter, Cameron. was both helpful with suggestions and attentive. We all would recommend this place.
This restaurant experience was nice, service was great but the open area can get a little loud if a table is having a very good time. I myself had a Reuben sandwich which was very good- could only finish half of the entrée due to the amount of meat on the sandwich. My partner had the fish & chips meal. The fish itself was a good size portion and cooked to perfection. All and all I would come back for another time and try the outside seating and with one of their pizza's.
I had heard so many good things about Smoke that when my first experience was somewhat lackluster, I decided I would give it another try before casting judgment. However my second experience was only worse. The first time I went with family the brisket was lukewarm, the corn muffin cold as ice but all the sides seemed like they were made when I ordered them. The brisket was also pretty dry. Overall not a bad experience. The service was great and my German in laws who don’t speak fantastic English were met with patience and understanding when ordering their meals. The second visit was just downright bad. Firstly, I ordered one of their tap beers and when it came, it came in a wine glass. I was told it’s not the normal glass but they were out of beer glasses. So because of this I got your average wine pour when I should have gotten a pint. Still paid that full price though. I also ordered the pizza. I was sitting next to the pizza oven so I could see every pizza coming in and out. After nearly an hour I was still without any food and my server kept saying the pizza was about to come out. Right around the hour mark I saw the first pizza go in. At this point we had already paid to leave and my wife let me pick at her plate. My server then rudely told me that I should have expected the wait. 5 minutes after the first pizza goes in. I see them pull it out, cut it and box it for me.Now after all this the manager was well aware of all the issues. So did I get my food comped? My drink? Nope. I got $3 off of a $130 tab discounted.Sadly I’ll never be back at Smoke. But at this point I’d rather go to a chain BBQ joint before returning.
It has been a few years since I ate here and I usually do not like to write a lower rating but after eating here tonight I remember why I have not eaten there. I got brisket with green beans. the beans had no flavor at all and the brisket was cool and a dry. the price on brisket was also high. The service was not good. ask for a box and waited at least 15 minutes while he walked past us multiple times, I also had to go find him in order to check out he was at the bar chatting with a couple of people. in my opinion save money and go to Mission BBQ their food is better and prices are better.
I am always down for good food especially BBQ and by happy coincidence I happened to be driving by this establishment so big U-turn and in to the parking lot I went. Very friendly service right from the jump. The place was absolutely packed which is a good sign and the hostess was quick to find an open spot for us to sit. Waitress (Chelsea) had our initial drink order up and at the table within two minutes of my butt hitting the seat. After some debate over their extensive menu it was settled that we would try a few of the appetizers and one of the sandwiches as our meal. I highly recommend the BBQ deviled eggs (delicious!), the mozzarella sticks and the smothered tater tots. For our sandwich we got the Reuben (my all time favorite food) and it was absolutely amazing. Very flavorful, fresh, and huge! The Mac and cheese is delicious as well with a smoky gooey consistency. I will for sure be back to sample more of this menu in future trips to the area.
