So let me start by saying this is a smallcakes bakery I can get behind. They are friendly, professional and know me by name. The whole new look is breathtaking. The vibe is so relaxing and inviting I go for cupcakes every week. It is such a difference from prior staff. The way they speak about cupcakes and revamping is nothing short of amazing. I can’t wait to pick up my orders. I see great things from the current smallcakes team yayyyy ?
Came back to visit and the price has gone up and the flavor was almost nonexistent and the frosting was greasy as it gets when it sits for too long in the bag in the back. No prices posted and no ice cream flavors posted. Took forever to get a refund. Very disappointing.
We love smallcakes! They are definitely not anywhere close to small, we cut ours in half and share all the different flavors we order! Our favorites are peanut butter cup, birthday cake and carrot cake!
They have the best tasting cupcakes. Iv turn my niece and other family and friends on to them. They are fresh and great tasting. I recommend them.
We ordered pops for our Prom and were very pleased with their attention to detail in making them thematic with our colors. The students loved them and overall it was a very wise choice! The company was extremely helpful and cooperative.
So after 2 years of searching Virginia for a good cupcake shop, like the one we loved back in Arizona, we FINALLY found it today. These cupcakes are moist, delicious, just the right amount of sweet, and so cute! We WILL be coming back, these are a slice of Heaven on earth!!! The peanut butter one was divine omg
Best cupcakes in the area! I live in Portsmouth so whenever I'm in the area I come grab a few. Sometimes I'll drive to Newport News just for cupcakes. Cupcakes are moist, never dry. Friendly customer service ? I would recommend if you need something for a special event to call a few weeks ahead. I tried to order a cake for my husband's birthday and ran into a small issue due to staffing.
On February 15th I had my 75th birthday party . A friend bought 4 dozen cup cakes : she even got gluten free for my son. They were the hit of the party . Everyone wanted to know where they came from and she told them so you’re probably going to get real busy .The wedding cake flavor and the lemon seemed to be a big big hit. I liked the carrot cake.I think the reason they are so good is because you are so generous with the icing. That’s the best I think I’ve ever eaten. Thanks for making my birthday special.
Not typically a fan of cake in general but small cakes has some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever had! Loved the staff and the owner Wendy is super nice! Will be converting all my friends over to small cakes!
Oh my! Sinful cupcakes... so moist and the frosting is excellent ? I highly recommend this business to everyone. My toddlers love it! They have tables and chairs for kids :)
