I was initially a bit nervous about eating here because I didn't know what a skrimp was. My friend explained that it's a little tropical bird. They don't look like birds but I was told the they cut off the head, feet, and wings to make them easier to eat. That explains why the price was $22 for a basket of them. Overall they were pretty tasty.

The place is pretty awesomesauce. The location is great and it’s clean. They clean from top to bottom and before the COVID. I love their sweet potatoes fries, crabmeat and skrimp sandwich, it taste fantastic with the spicy sauce. Their catfish is pretty good too just make sure to eat it there. If you take it to go the Perspiration takes away the crunchiness.
My most recent visit was not one to write home about. In fact, the previous time I ordered this happened as well. I ordered grilled shrimp and recieved fried shrimp. This would be okay if it were a one off thing, but I am certain the last two meals here they have made this very mistake.Update: they have been doing much better as of late.
I've only had one experience so far where they mixed up my order, but they were quick to fix it and extremely polite and apologetic about it. They are kind and the lady there now at the front desk even remembers your name. I would definitely recommend this place. The food is cooked well and delicious, the atmosphere is on point, and overall the service is good.
I ordered the crab cake dinner with collard greens for $28 and received what looks like a $15 dollar portion of special or backfin crab meat and not lump. The flavor was good and the staff was kind but for the price I was extremely disappointed

Best fried seafood in town. They give alot of seafood for what you pay. The staff is friendly and professional. The only con is the fish sandwich can be cooked to hard at times. I have to request my fish to be soft cook, which they have a difficult time knowing how to do. Other then that I would give them a five star.
I really like this Skrimp Shack location. The staff is always great and the seafood is always hot and fresh. I always get the oysters and they fry them how I like them everytime. The Cocunut Lemon cookies are the best too. Definitely worth the money and I've never been let down at this one.
First time customer at this store, clean and neat as you enter the store, plenty of dining in seating, furniture is new and present a welcoming feel, staff is polite and helpful, got flounder, catfish, chicken tenders all were well seasoned and fresh and hot., great hush puppies, string beans, fries and collar greens, very pleased with all items, family enjoyed everything and I will inform others and I myself will return
