The staff on the day we were there was very rude. Shrimp was overcook. It was mushy. There has to be better places to eat in Newport News.
Missing coleslaw. Ordered catfish, I don’t know what kind of fish I received but it wasn’t catfish . Shrimp and scallops were fritters instead of actual fried shrimp and scallops. Egg rolls were mushy. Food was hot which is the only good thing . I guess because of the area they believe they can sell whatever and get away with it. I wouldn’t support this establishment again . Very deceitful practices.
We purchased fresh scallops and frozen crab legs. They were nice enough to pack it in ice so we could take it back to WV. The next day we cooked everything and it was delicious! Great service, great food.

I like it I had a few bad crabs last time and thought the garlic crabs was supposed to be jumbo ? but over all there good
A local gem! Friendly staff and delicious food. Try the garlic & butter crab kickers and the hand-picked real crab meat eggrolls for a real treat.
This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. The white girl at the register was rude. Acted like she couldn’t speak. Asked a question but couldn’t open her mouth instead she pointed. She looked ill. A few customers ahead of me asked if she was alright and she said she didn’t feel good. She claimed to not feel good and was wearing no face covering. She was also wearing a bonnet (the kind that you use when you go to sleep) that is not safe serve approved. So unsanitary. Did she go to work or was she going to sleep?) With this day in age and with COVID spreading rapidly, the owner’s need to send her home. She looked like she needed a doctor. We lived here in the Beechmont area for 32 years and this restaurant is not like it used to be. This place was bought by another Korean family. (The Original owners own a restaurant on J Clyde called Chick-n-Fish) maybe I should’ve gone there instead. Won’t catch me there again.
