Food was outstanding, I believe we may have just got unlucky with our server or maybe she was just having an off day but she seemed out of it. It was not busy so food was quick but glasses for tea and water seemed empty more often than full. Their was lack of explanation when it came to entrees and options when asked. Desert was sub par. Overall great experience and would return again.
The service and ambiance was very good and the salad and side dishes were done well. My wife and I both agreed the steak we had was mediocre at best. It was cooked close to our requested temperature but extremely dry. Most high end steak places have ovens designed to "convect" the meat as well as sear the outside to hold moisture and flavor. Our steaks had some decent flavor but were just too dry. I thought about sending it back but typically a dry steak can't be fixed. The dessert was also good. I thought about giving them a 4 star but given its a chop house and the one item they should have perfected left us disappointed, I had to rate them a 3 overall.
Special Birthday Dinner
Will definitely be returning. Very enjoyable evening.
Niceâ¦waiter needs more enthusiasm, servers need to know exactly which table the food is supposed to goâ¦my food went to a table that was ordering carry out.
Overall good experience for their Sunday Brunch. The only drawback is that their buffet is not ready when they open and some of the hot food has not been warmed yet. Service was great. Ambience was okay.
What a wonderful experience at Schlesinger's!! The service, atmosphere and food was amazing!! Was impressed with the attention to detail, the recommendations on the menu etc.
Lovely restaurant for a relaxing business dinner after a long day. From Reese the bartender to our fantastic server, it was truly the highlight of our trip. Cheers to the chef for delicious food and presentation.
Great food and service but prices are out of hand. Likely not to return as a result. There should be a dress code, dining with those in tee shirts and shorts while paying $100 pp doesnât cut it.
Egg's Schlesingers were a bit cold, what I assume was turkey bacon had virtually no flavor. All the other items were excellent.
