I was very disappointed for it being my first time going to this location… the quality of cheesesteak doesn’t match the price.. definitely a waste of almost $30 for two horrible subs! Smh.
I don't usually write reviews but this place needed one. Ordered from here last night lettuce was missing from sandwiches only had 1 tomato and one of the sandwiches had a bug in the middle. Threw it away! Bad experience. Decor was dingy and run down food was over priced.
The food might be great, but the state of the restaurant is unacceptable. Shoes literally stick to the floor, liquid stains on the wall, smell is horrible, water damage in the ceiling, chairs and tables falling apart.I’ve never left a review before, the the cleanliness and upkeep of the restaurant is appalling.
The food was good. I ordered a cheesesteak, fries, mozzarella sticks and a drink. I asked for a little bit of green peppers, banana peppers and hot peppers. They didn't have sweet peppers which is a must have for me. The cheesesteak was okay. I would of preferred all the peppers were cooked and chopped into the meat. When I took a bite of the sandwich all I tasted was cold peppers. The restaurant is clean and good customer service.
Excellent Cheesesteak!! Bread is outstanding and the ribeye steak is spot on! And the French Fries were hot and delicious! Would be a five star ? rating if not for the nickel and diming over the bill. Expect to pay $$$$ for your meal!
Great tasting cheesesteaks - as good as other location but sometimes a bit slower for orders at lunchtime since they get a lot of take out orders. Cheesesteaks are huge - always buy the large (if you can’t eat it all, save half for lunch the next day)
Absolutely love the food. 10/10 Will be back for more!!! Ally is the best also ☺️
First time ordering from DoorDash. My order was quick and sub was hot. Outside of the bread being too soggy on the other side, it was good. Loots of meat. I added lettuce, green peppers, and onions to mine.
Delicious ? CheeseSteak and you get a gang of fries ? when you get a combo.
I am a longtime customer of Ricks, going back to when Rick opened Straight out of Philly. When he sold that and opened again as Ricks, I've been a regular customer. The last four to five times that I have bought a hoagie from their, they have not been putting lettuce on even though I continue to request it and have complained over and over. The first time I complained, the woman who was working answered me, "well Rick doesn't own it anymore." (Like that us a reason for not making a hoagie as requested). The next time, the manager informed me the person who was making the sandwiches had been fired. The third time, I didn't complain until ordering the next time. And that time it was right. This fifth time the lady tells me she made my sandwich and definitely put lettuce on it. Like I can't see or taste. At no point did I ever request a new sandwich or compensation. I just want my hoagie to have lettuce on it. And that seems to be an unreasonable request. So I will never eat at this place again. And that is hard cause for many years, this was the best taste to remind me of eating at home in Philly.
