Drive through cashier needs a person with better communucation skills. As a cashier you do not say "huh?" If you cant hear someone. I recieved that word about 5 times and it was repulsive. Food was okay, fries that are with the meal you might get 10 of them total. Onlu order a sandwich, not a meal deal. Its not worth the price conaidering i can pay 10.99$ at chilies for an appetizer full meal of a bacon burger with plenty of fries and unlimited refills.
Upon arriving at Popeye's on Jefferson Avenue. I saw signs on the entryway to Popeye's and signed posted in the window of Popeyes that offered shrimp tackle box for $6. When I place my order after waiting for over a half hour in the Drive-Thru; I was informed Popeyes did not have the shrimp as a special as listed, but at the regular price for the same amount of shrimp which was over $8. I believe this is an example, a prime example of false advertising. I called the number on my receipt and left a voice message for the manager whose name was also on the receipt.
The best thing about this eatery is the proximity to Riverside Hospital. The lines (inside AND the drive through) were long, and moved slow enough that more than one customer decided not to wait. The flounder sandwich was good. Tasty. Hot. A good size for the price. I was a bit surprised when the staff member handing me a cup of water stated "We need to start charging for water." Really? Was that comment necessary? It was my first visit and although I enjoyed the sandwich, I am not likely to return.
When the cashier finished with the previous customer she left the counter to sweep the serving area despite me standing right in front of her ready to order. Good clue to leave and go somewhere else.I got the Shrimp Tackle box, it's supposed to be 8 pieces. I got 7. It was over cooked so the shrimp were tough and the coating completely overwhelmed the flavor of the shrimp. When I get shrimp I want it to taste like shrimp.Last time I went here was in 2002. It be at least another 20 years before I go back.
Let's see...Where do I start? They had a 13 year old working the drive thru window when we went Saturday at 930pm. ? I don't even think that's legal.... You could smell the burnt grease outside of the restaurant..they refried all of our food to re warm I guess and it was all too hard...it all went in the garbage..they had no mash potatoes..no pies...no mac and cheese and O yeah the 13 year old left the window mid order and the manager stepped in with an attitude telln us to pay for our order and it was not even complete... We asked where the other girl went and she said to the bathroom. We said well it would have been nice if she would have said that. The managers response...Well she only 13 soo ? I will NEVER go there again.
I wish I give 0 star, but google won't let me, I ordered mild 8 pieces family meal, It comes with spicy 8 pieces. I got 2 legs, 2 wigns, and 4 thighs. My kids was excited having big breast pieces, but nothing. How workers mess up order like this, what they do is cook chicken and serve.Popeyes lost my business PERIOD.
I've gone 5 times in the past two months and every time I've been told they're out of every item on the menu. It was 10 mins after opening every time. There's no sign saying this either nor is it posted on social media or their website. I love a good popeyes sandwich but this is ridiculous. They are also understaffed and overworked.
The order was correct and the drive through lady was very nice. Only issue we had was purchasing a large thing of gravy and only getting half the cup filled.
I placed my order 30 minutes ahead and paid for it through the app. I received a confirmation and the time I was supposed to be there. I arrived at the time I was told that my order would be in a bag on the counter ready for me to pick up. Then everything went straight to hell. I had checked and been told the lobby was open as I had this exact same problem once before and double checked to be SURE it wouldn't happen again, but somehow once again, it did. The lobby was locked. I was forced to wait in the car line. 4 cars placing orders ahead of me. Another 10 minutes till I reached the order stand and of course they didn't have my meal, and when I calmly asked about it at the pickup window, despite the fact I was talking quietly and polite, the girl reacted as if I was screaming and waving a gun at her. At any rate it was 30 horrible minutes for the absolute worst experience ever. It was like an episode of the Twilight Zone. The sandwich was good but with that crew I was afraid to eat it.....
Troed to leave message on Warwick location,, but it would go thru. Drive to visit t he popeyes on Warwick blvd, while waiting for our car to be serviced at another location. But couldn't go inside to order. People without transportation can not eat at this location, although it's within walking distance of homes and apartments.
