Went there with my girl and we were impressed the service was very good but the food was just OK. I have been to foals all over the country and literally all over the world and most of the time the bass broth is beef broth my girl and I were talking after we left and it was almost like all they did was put some soy sauce in the water with some spices because it did not taste like beef broth. When I go back again no the service was impressive but I’m sorry you know it’s just not like anything I’ve ever had anywhere before to include Vietnam.

The food is always amazing! 2 stars docked because I went in today after work and the Asian lady seemed annoyed when I was trying to figure out which appetizer I liked from last time. Also I sat without a much needed water refill for about 15 minutes until the white chic working asked if I’d like one. She needs a raise and all the tips cuz she was doing most the work and the other lady was just sitting in a booth messing around on her phone.

This place is awesome on all counts. The food are amazing I definitely recommend the egg rolls and number 6. And anything from the vermicelli section. Thought the vermicelli gets too much cabbages given on the side but you’ll enjoy their whole menu. The prices Are very right, cheaper than texas at least. The place is always clean and the workers are live and very attentive. They have military discount too for my service members. They close 2130 not 2100

Service was null. Barely anyone working and it was not busy day or time. I remember 2 years ago it was busy, now I know why. We were told to seat anywhere. We chose the table in between the entrance and exit. Because there was other dirty tables. Not cleaned up after customers. Our table was not wiped down either we had to ask them to do it. This was Friday New Year's eve around 5pm and I hope the owners review the video and see it.

My wife’s dad and my little bro came in to eat the other day. The employee just ignored them and served the peoples who came in after them. Lucky I wasn’t there, I’ll make you clean the floor.

So I’m a travel nurse and I had seen a lot of Pho 79 restaurants back home. I literally only went to this particular location for some Thai tea but they were out. The staff behind the counter gave me 20% off when I got the Thai bubble. I also decided to try their rice with grilled shrimp and it was just absolutely delicious! They gave me a great size serving. It wasn’t a tiny bit of food. But yes, definitely enjoyed eating here. Will definitely be going there again. The staff is very fast and nice.

Customer service is always great and the food is pretty decent - especially the Pho Ga with vermicelli noodles and the egg rolls. The taro boba tea is great. They add an extra 50¢ fee for takeout, but they make sure to separate out the broth so it doesn’t make anything soggy on the way to your destination. I will say, prices have increased since 2020 for sure, but it’s no more than other most takeout places have inflated too.

Very very expensive. This food was reasonable. at first $8.99 a bowl. This place charged me $17 a bowl for shrimp. The price in is ridiculous baby I will not eat Here again as a matter of fact the fact the price has gone up all over. So pho is off my menu.

"Why so mean?" would be the question I would ask the management of Pho 79 regarding their employees if I had the opportunity to ask such a question and someone to who I could ask it. I mean, the employees at this restaurant genuinely seem angry.....and I don't mean on one or two occasions my wife and I have been there......but EVERY....SINGLE....TIME we go there. Tonight (Thursday, 12/9/21) when we walked in one of the employees (a young man) directed us to take a seat and before my wife and I could even sit down he literally threw a couple of plastic menus at us sliding them across the table in our direction and simultaneously asked us what we wanted to drink before we could even sit. I said to him "let us sit down first" at which time he turned his back and went back behind the register where, apparently, in an act of additional anger (since as my wife pointed out he probably didn't like me implying to him that we would prefer to sit before we started ordering) he decided to ignore us for some 15 minutes. When he did finally take our order (and you may not believe this), he actually stood some two or three feet from our table at a computer and took our order "remotely" if you will. I've never seen this before. On a side note: I did notice that all of the employees at this restaurant take each table orders like this no matter how far away the table is from the computer. This seems bizarre at best and highly inappropriate at worst. Why, you ask, would we continue going there if all of the aforementioned is the case? Well first of all, we're not going back after tonight's visit (Thursday, 12/9/21) as tonight was kinda the straw that broke the camel's back....and second, we kept going back (probably around seven times now) because the food, up until tonight, has actually been decent. However, tonight my Pho soup, when served, was lukewarm and my wife's soup was too salty. If tonight's poor food had been a one-off I would have let it go.....if not for the horrible and (again) seemingly angry customer service. Upon stepping up to the counter to pay our bill, the angry young man (and btw, all of the employees there seemed rushed, upset at god knows what, and generally unhappy to be at work) asks me how everything was and before I could even shrug a response he says that'll be $42.50". I said to him why did you ask the question if you're not going to wait for the answer after which I told him about the cold/salty soup and the issues I had w/ his curt behavior starting from the second we walked in. To this, he seemed completely indifference, even bored....and, of course, even more pissed off. To this, I told him I will let my review (this one) do my talking for me. So....go to Pho 79 if you'd like. The food....for the most part....seems ok. But if you're expecting to be served up kindness, decency, hospitality, and respect with your spring rolls and beef broth noodles, you might want to try your nearest McDonald's.

Really clean restaurant, great good and exceptional service! We have a Pho 79 by our house and stopped in to try this one while we were traveling. So good!!!
