Recommend! Visited with family as they live in the area and was recommend Papa Nachos, very satisfied. The space was very crowded (friday night) but service was fast from the server, bar and cook side with everything coming out fast and friendly all around. Decent size restaurant indoor and patio, all well kept and clean. Would recommend!
If you love Mexican food like I do, you are going to fall in love with this little gem of a restaurant! It's clean and uncluttered inside and it immediately feels like a great place to eat! The food is hot and fresh including the hot chips that they dropped off at our table with salsa! The waitstaff was very friendly and handled our order with care and professionalism from the time we placed it until we finished. They even handled the additional take out order we spontaneously added at the last second with ease. There were absolutely zero errors on any of our dishes and the food was very reasonably priced and huge portions. We are going back! Often!
I love music!!I was yelling to give my order, because the music was so loud.Loud enough that I asked if it could be turned down.It was not.My waiter didn't speak English, so when I complained about the brown lettuce in my tacos someone had to come over and translate. Still nothing was done about it, I picked out the brown lettuce from my shrimp tacos and ate them. No one came over to ask if I wanted a refill on my drink, until my check was put on the table. Then I asked if I could have a refill please.Lord never again!
This place was pretty good, but the music was stupidly loud. I'm a person whose hearing impaired and I had to take my hearing aids out.Food-wise, no complaints. Very similar to other nearby places (plaza, Jose tequilas, la parrilla). Their layout stands out compared to their competitors.Again though, that music volume was cranked to 11. I was having to inconvenience our waitress by asking her to repeat herself multiple times.
I consistently have a poor to go experience here. They are either too busy to attend to their customers or they have something in the order wrong. The birria tacos are very overpriced and mediocre at best. Mine just had giant clumps of cheese and since they take so long to attend you it’s completely hard once you get home. Not a good experience, they bank on the fact that they are one of the few Hispanic restaurants in the area; and the prices are representative of that fact, and not on any good customer experience. Save your money and go elsewhere.

My friend and I was seated at 4:45, only received a can of Nachos and a glass of water. We noticed by 5:15 no one came to take a food or drink order. We flagged down a waiter who casually took a drink order. While waiting on the drinks and maybe someone to take our food order, we noticed other patrons come in, get seated and receive their drinks. By now, it is 5:25 and we have not received anything other than water and Nachos. I think the waiter finally got around to making the drink order when we walked out the door. This was my first and my last time. Never again.
Completely and utterly delish. Got the street tacos as I tend to do but they were great. A couple chicken and one lengua taco. Awesome! And that drink.....omg! They really hooked it up!
My husband and I came here tonight (we are currently walking out now) Our server, young dude. I forgot his name, nor would I call him out on here.For starters, never filled our water. I asked for more salsa, he rolled his eyes and never brought it. Next, he didn’t ask if we wanted flour or corn for our tacos. When it came to us flour tortillas (no biggie I asked for corn when he came back minutes later ) he said “okay?” And shrugged his shoulders. We asked for military discount and he again, rolled his eyes, came back and said “no manager here, sorry”. All in all, will never return back here, which is unfortunate because we love supporting local restaurants. I also want to add, he not once checked on us after the food came. Nor asked if we needed anything.Positive of tonight: chips and salsa were fantastic and the place was clean and or food was delicious!
Food is sooo good! We've had the elotes, chimichangas (fried), tacos, quesadillas, chorizo queso, queso and our favorites are the birria tacos and elotes. Service is always quick, friendly, prices are very fair, drinks are good and my kid loves going there.
