This is the third time my family has been here. The sushi is never fresh, and the service has been slow. Not to mention all of my items from the kitchen came out cold.I had a few pieces of sushi left on my plate (5) to be specific and was charged $5 extra because of it.I understand not eating an entire roll etc. however making someone eat everything on their plate is ridiculous when its only 5 pieces after ordering soup and appetizers. Not to mention they charged my children the adult prices and then came back and said they couldn’t take my card with the bill when they brought it after I explained to them they are not adults. Then they wanted to charge me extra money for the 5 pieces of sushi. It’s a scam for not fresh sushi, old rice, cold entrees, and not really good service and also got our sushi order wrong. Also we found multiple hairs in our food

Totally average quality of sushi. No real complaints. Not authentic, but I wasn't expecting that anyway. Very American-ized rolls: loaded with sugar, sauce, crunch, spice, you name it. But Spicy Girl was our favorite roll- you wouldn't think the lemon would be so good on sushi, but it was!Thought it was a little funny to see where they cut the chicken satay to make sure it was cooked- the chicken was very tasty, just seemed kinda amateur.Unimpressed with the cheap servings/dressing of their sashimi. Every "piece" of sashimi is an actual piece of fish (that would fit atop a piece sushi) cut into 2 or 4 pieces. So, really you're getting 1 piece of fish, but they make it look like 4.Also pretty distasteful to plate a "tuna tartare" where 80% of the dish is cucumbers, with 3 thin slices of tuna on top. Finally, server seemed overworked; And acted like she absolutely hated her job, which is concerning and sad. Entirely Chinese staff last time we were there, too (no Japanese staff in a Japanese restaurant??).We probably won't be coming back. Seeing all the cut corners/cheaping out just made it feel not quite worth it.Parking: Many parking spots available

Friendly, clean, great food ,& drinks! options of sushi was great vegan/ Vegatarian. 2 people & 2orders to go (63)Vegetarian options: variety of sushi available for vegatarian/ vegans ?Wheelchair accessibility: enough space to allow entry & movement through the establishment. dining area has accommodations for w/c

Decent sushi. Didn't come for lunch special so six rolls together and chicken katsu all together was like $59.Picture below is Philly roll, yellowtail roll, super duper roll

Best sushi in Newport News. Best sushi in Virginia. I would drive 3 hours just to eat here. All you can eat for roughly $21. Plenty of variety on the AYCE menu for people who don't like sushi too. You MUST come here if you want sushi!!!!

I love this place. My wife have been going here since it opened. I always get the "OMG roll" and traditional nigiri tuna and salmon sushi. There are other very good specialty rolls, like the "Volcano" roll. I mostly visit for their "made to order" "all you you can eat" lunch special. This special includes sushi, salad, and appetizers. It's reasonably priced and delicious. The staff is always very hospitable and the interior is nice. I haven't been here for dinner

All-you-can-eat sushi at a reasonable price. Paid about $25/person before tip and taxes, but thats not the important part. The servers were friendly, and great conversationalists. One of them talked with my roommate and I about music after they were jamming out and getting into the groove. The other was a bit on the quieter side but was quick to respond to empty drinks/plates. There were even a few jokes here and there when the servers had a few moments. As for the food: the fried calimari was phenomenal! Ive had a lot of calimaro, but that was the first time Ive had an order that came out exactly right. The breading was even seasoned, which you almost never see. The sushi was pretty standard fare for the most part, but the quality for the price is pretty hard to beat!If you're passing through Newport News I'd highly recommend going for the All-you-can-eat menu here. There's also an Al carte option available for those wanting something on the go.

I've been here twice and loved it both times. The first time I went for lunch and was pretty excited about the value and the food was great! The second time I came on the weekend with extended family and our server - a young man with braids - really provided excellent service. We didn't really go expecting that but were happy to receive it.Don't sleep on the cucumber salad (slightly sweet), crab salad, and seewead salad. The appetizers are definitely worth trying.

So darn good! The sushi was amazing. There are so many options. I tried eight different kinds, and they were all delicious. The service was as great as the food. The server was attentive and super polite. I can't wait to go back. This is now my go-to place for sushi.

Ordered via Door dash and was very pleased with my order. I got three rolls: Black Dragon, Tokyo, and Mango; miso soup, salad, and an order of omelette. The rolls were fresh and well constructed, and I would order from here again.
