Came here based on the glowing reviews…. But based on my experience there’s no possible way a 4.9 is accurate.My friend and I ordered the lunch boxes with pork and chicken. I’m unsure if they used old vegetables, but the vegetables were limp and blackened, and so was the meat, which was incredibly over salted. The entire meal was inedible, to the point that we immediately asked for the check after a bite.Our server, who also seemed to be the owner, didn’t even ask if something was wrong with the food — just dropped off the check and didn’t seem to care at all. We also weren’t greeted upon entering or exiting the restaurant…As a new business, I could forgive the food not being good — after all, it can take time to perfect recipes and get the food right. But rude and unfriendly service on top of bad food is not ok — If at least the managers had been sincere and hospitable we might have come back in a few weeks to give it another chance. But alas…
Cannot rave about this place enough! The Galbi and accompanying Banchan is top notch - some of the best short ribs I’ve ever had. The seafood Pajeon is delightful and reminiscent of an omelet with crispy edges. So good, I ate all this food by myself. Go support this small family business!!
The food was absolutely outstanding, restaurant was very clean and staff was equally polite and respectful. Went for lunch and was amazed at the quality and amount of food given. Would highly recommend to anyone that wants very good Korean cuisine. I have been to several in Newport News, Norfolk and Virginia Beach and this restaurant was by far the best!!!!!
Very delicious,well made food. Great portions, some dishes could be shared between 2 people. Clean,simple atmosphere. The lady that served us was so nice. I will return!
It’s most authentic Korean I have ever had in this area. The restaurant looked very clean and new. Also, service and food were both good. I highly recommend this place.
Wow! Wow! Wow! The best beef bulgogi in Hampton Roads. Generous amount of beef , lovely banshan (sp. Potstickers that make your lips smack. The owner/server is so sweet we had to tip her extra.
The food here is very good. Ive been once with my family and have also ordered togo. The beef bulgogi is my favourite. I had been craving it since the first time I visited. Nice family restaurant.
I went on Saturday night with some friends. The good was so good. You definitely get your money worth. The employees were very nice and friendly. I am definitely coming back to this restaurant again.
Very clean and the food is very tasty. I've been here a few times and tried many of the menu items and they were all delicious. The food is varied and it is good for family gatherings.
Had a issue getting there close to closing, but came back next day to her remembering us. This husband & wife team are very accommodating & friendly. The food is very authentic Korean. Thank you
