If your goal is to eat with the locals then you have found the place. It is attached to a small store that you will walk through. The food will have more bone, gristle than you are used to.It will also have more flavor. They had to rustle up an English menu for us. If you don't often eat authentic, I suggest you pass but if you do and like it, go and enjoy while you practice your Spanish
Our family absolutely loves this restaurant/store. The family who owns it are so friendly, and accommodating for any need you might have, even if it’s last minute they will do what they can to help you. We will most definitely keep coming back! By far the best authentic Mexican food around the 757.

I have been here a few times and it is hands-down the best Mexican food you will find on the peninsula. Enchiladas, birria tacos and bistek a la Mexicana are all amazing. The service is fantastic, my waitress Victoria also makes sure everything is in order and service is always timely. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're looking for delicious Mexican food!
Great customer service. I had the taste for tamales today. Wasn't able to get the ones I wanted, but got some anyway and they didn't disappoint. The nice lady even threw one in for free. Will definitely come back when the variety of tamales are available!
Love this place! They have authentic amazing Mexican food. The birria tacos are soooo delicious! The portions are are large but go during lunch because they close at 3 or 4.
This is my spot I love Mexican food and this place has authentic Mexican food their food menu is in Spanish so you know it’s real? But please support this place we don’t want to see them go anytime soon.

This is a small Mexican restaurant with a grocery area. They had a nice menu but it is very authentic. Do not go here looking for chips and salsa. I got the pizza birria and it was served and prepared like you might get at home. Flavor was very good. Be prepared to know what you want and to speak a little Spanish. I used Google translate and it was fine. I will go back.
