I waited 45mins for a bagel steak egg and cheese combo. I ordered just one combo. The manger had several excuses that did not make sense. There were people that waited and was very upset and some ask for their money back. Very unorganized and unprofessional. The whole dining room was waiting for orders and the drive thru was wrapped around the building with complaints of waiting for food. I will never visit this particular Mc Donald's again. The worst service. I gave one star but I did not want to give that.
McDonald's is fast food and it is just McDonald's. The service at the McDonald's near Costco in Newport News is the best anywhere. I asked for 5 cheeseburgers for my service animals, no buns or condiments, packed each in a separate container. I also added a special order quarter pounder with cheese for myself and a meal for my friend. Then we ended the largest amount of chicken nuggets that we could get, no sauce, also packaged separately for the Service Babies as well. That is a lot of crazy ordering as they are about to close! My 5 Service Canines deserve the best even late at night. Without hesitation my order was filled in the usual timely manner and they added extra french fries a small because we had such a good laugh over how spoiled my service puppies are! Their late-night Team is fantastic & I hope that they all know it. If you love McDonald's, this is the McDonald's you need to be at when you had a Stage 4 cancer treatment very early in the morning then get skunked after fishing for the rest of the day! Thanks to the entire team for their quality service & lots of laughs about my strange order. The Extraordinary Service Babies & I will definitely return!
Great food while on the go. The line was long as expected during the time frame I went, however, the food was fresh and out fairly quickly.
The food is always fresh at this location ONLY! The staff is professional, they wear gloves, hair coverings and masks! One of the best McDonald's I've eaten at! I drive 20 minutes for this one when I have 4 within 10 minutes from my home.
With the understanding that this is a fast food restaurant I was still very disappointed when I I ordered online and went to go pickup and employees refused to speak to me. They placed a sign on the window saying they were closed at 10pm and I was there before 10 and not one employee spoke to me. Very unprofessional.
It's fine, it's a fast food place and it's mcdonalds. It's usually got a line at the drive thru because the parking is really weird. I parked and went in one time and got blocked by the drive thru line. The drive thru cashier is usually pretty pleasent and the food is consistent. The thing to watch out for are other customers they can be extremely rude and unpleasant. Overall i prefer this McDonald's to the others in the area.
It's a McDonald's. It's gonna be the same quality food from Virginia to Cali, but the speed at this location is fantastic. They do very well with only 1 drive through, and being at the busiest intersection in Newport News.
Wanted a milkshake a couple weeks ago. Naturally their machine was down; cashier was rude about it. Which I can imagine they hate that question.
Chose to do curbside since I was on my meal break at work since it states it would be faster. The app stated I would only have to wait around 5 minutes for my food to arrive. I waited 30 minutes for my food I had to go inside and ask for it. And when they brought it to my car they had an attitude and acted like it was an inconvenience for them to bring me myFood… how can you have an attitude when you wasted my entire lunch break to give me food I know was just sitting there the whole time. My burger was stale the “crispy” chicken sandwich was soggy and disgusting
Ehhh it's McDonald's, you can't expect great service nor food. It's just fills the hunger. Especially at this location... I gave it two stars cause it did just that besides the morning crew messed up my order when she didn't know how to make my ice coffee.. and blatantly stated she didn't kno. And was not trained... had to laugh about it cause she did three pumps of liquid sugar in one cup n 5 in the next.. then tried to mix cream.. ordered two of the same drink but had two completely different taste..
