This is one of my favorite Korean food joints ever. I'm not a local, but anytime I do take a road trip down this way, I make an effort to stop by for lunch or dinner. I normally get their mandu and kimbap as well as their bulgogi, all of which are DELICIOUS. They also have a nice variety of tasty banchans (side dishes). Overall a really great spot. I'd highly recommend it to anyone, especially those who love homey korean food.
Amazing food! The owner is so much fun! Best Korean food we have had in years.
This is one of my favorite Asian cuisine restaurants in the area. I didn’t really expect to have a good time because of how small and drab the building looks however I was pleasantly surprised. The seating arrangement wasn’t the best as the tables were all scuffed and definitely need to be replaced. The appetizer we had were friend dumpling with this paste which you had to add vinegar or soy sauce to. I really enjoyed mixing my own sauce because there’s that aspect of interactivity and you can choose how strong you want your sauce to be. The waitress told us the paste was VERY strong so we should be careful but I eventually discovered that it wasn’t that strong at all and I started just eating it straight out the container. One major problem I would like to point out is the lack of hygiene. Our waitress was not wearing a mask during the pandemic. Usually I wouldn’t mind personally since we are all fully vaccinated with the booster however our waitress must’ve been sick or something because she was sniffing a lot and you could see the snot in her nose. That’s absolutely unacceptable during a pandemic. I get that some people are desperate for money during these times and NEED to work even when sick but she could’ve at least worn a mask… Anyways our food was incredible. It was beautifully decorated with colorful veggies and the serving sizes were big. I had dumpling soup that came with a serving of white rice. The soup could’ve had a tap but of more flavor but it came to the table hot and either way I was satisfied. Overall the prices were fair for what we got.
This is sad . There no Korean bbq in the room. There's just 7 tables you order from the kitchen then they have another room with the grill completely dark no tables ready there's not even a Korean staff . No water of any kind d at all . No bar. No drinks wines sake nothing . The menu was very sad . A little plastic panflet with tiny fonts. The lady had her nose all out and the other One server no mask . The place was kind off abandoned. The tables had computer aqyip on top like out of service it was not a safe experience. We left the place cause we got afraid it wasent sanitary enough and authentic . Sorry
Food was absolutely delicious and the staff friendly and down to earth. I will be coming back ASAP
Really good side dishes. Good quality entrees but not as big of a portion as some other Korean restaurants
Good food. Get more sides when you dine in. Chicken breast thinner than years on bulgogi order.
Food is always fantastic whenever I eat there. 10/10 would recommend.
Absolutly love the food!!! Best I've had in VA!! My daughter and I go at least every 2 weeks!! Owner is wonderful, as is the service!!
Excellent food and service. We enjoyed our meal and have never had a bad meal here. Server accidentally spilled a water glass and even that was handled so well that I must compliment her. She was embarrassed but it was just that, an accident. We will be back very soon.
