I was very dissatisfied with the food that I ordered here! I ordered chicken and shrimp hibachi. The chicken was chunky and dry and was only given 3 shrimp.The flavor was also off. I asked if they gave a Military Discount and to my surprise the young lady said no; very shocking being they are located in the back gate of the Ft Eustis Army Base. I just moved to the area from Hampton. I usually order from Japan Sushi House located on Big Bethel Rd there.The food is delicious; chicken is thinly sliced, you get nice large shrimp(6-7) and they give a Military Discount. They are located minutes away from Langley Air Force Base. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering from this establishment anymore!
Spent 70.00 and the portions were very small. Specifically Special rolls 11-15$ for 4 bite size pieces. I will not go here again. Quality was not there for me. I will continue to recommend Sushi King in Newport News
Had the Samurai Roll, Chicken Teriyaki, and Udon Ramen. Ended up ordering another Damurai roll to go. The dining area was clean, our server was attentive and friendly. Will definitely eat here again.
Great visit - nice atmosphere and sushi grade was very good. Only note is that sweet tea could be a little better.
Delightful lunch with my son. Bento boxes are tasty and fresh. Service was excellent. Mango Boba tea was amazing!
We dined for Hibachi and also ordred a Sushi and Appetizer. All was absolutely delicious and cooked very well. Excellent atmosphere clearly family owned and operated.
I seriously just wasted $30.00 here and I am so disappointed. The Shrimp Fried Rice had exactly seven medium sized Shrimp that were covered in teriyaki sauce. The rice was not fried at all, had no flavor, no eggs, no onions - nothing!! I ordered Teriyaki Chicken, Vegetable Tempura, and Dumplings in the Dinner Box. The so called chicken looked like strips of firm tofu; the veggies were lightly fried but you needed the sauce, and the dumplings were okay. I don't get all the reviews but I definitely will not go again but to each their own opinions.
Seriously the best sushi I have ever had. Ridiculously good, the earthquake roll is out of this world.
I love this place! The staff is super friendly. Their mango bubble tea is amazing.
