We had a wonderful dinner with friends. Our server was Jenna O. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Kelly and Emily at the bar made us feel welcome as we arrived early. We have had wonderful experiences at Kismet Bistro.I had Beef Tenderloin everyone else had fish specials.

the specials are great, the service is phenomenal, and the chicken sandwich is one of if not the best in the city. the pizza and wine night is a perfect date to impress your partner without breaking the bank. they also made my favorite sandwich of all time for one of their specials, a bahn mi french dip with pho broth.

When I tell you I think daily about these duck fries… I am not exaggerating. Some of the most delicious food I have ever had. I waited two years for that prime rib and finally got to go for my birthday, getting a little alone time for the first time and forever. I had a meal alone and watched a part of a movie. Delicious! And the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had in my life!! My server, Emily was kind and courteous and attentive. I would recommend kismet to anyone who can afford to go! ? I was tempted to apply to work there just for the discount the provide their employees ?
First let me say our server was great. We ordered an appetizer of pork belly biscuits, the biscuits were good, the pork belly was over done and too salty, Allen got the duck breast over penne pasta, our server said the duck would be served medium rare, well it was more like medium well and the fat was not rendered properly, instead of being crispy it was flabby, I ordered the fried oysters which were okay at best, the oysters come with fries and slaw, I asked for spinach instead of slaw, I got slaw and spinach and the spinach was way too salty, she did correct the order and brought me fries and a new order of spinach, we have heard very good things about this place for a long time and we were disappointed
Food was amazing ? ? I loved my goat-cheese burger and my server was AWESOME! Turns out she got the same burger for her lunches. I wasn't disappointed, and I can't wait togo back!I only wish we didn't have to wait so long for the check!

Always a wonderful dining experience here. A great atmosphere, well thought out environment, friendly staff and quality ingredients make for a great dinner. This place is a shining star in a sea of chains and run of the mill restaurants around Hampton Roads. No matter what I choose for my main course I always start off with deviled eggs - some of the best I've had! The menu isn't huge which I appreciate - focusing on some high quality specialties.
The overall experience was enjoyable. We tried the deviled eggs. When combined with the arugula and fried onions, they were okay, at best. A lighter coating on the fried green tomatoes would have allowed their flavor to shine.The chicken was fried to perfections. While plentiful, the mashed potatoes were rather bland. Although my food was tepid and felt that it had been sitting a while, the salmon and vegetables were delicious. My granddaughter's pork chop was moist and flavorful. The hamburgers and french fries were basic and boring.The service was phenomenal! Our waitress was knowledgeable and had a great attitude. While I am in no rush, I might consider coming back.
