My friend and I just wanted a ight meal. He ordered the beef chimichanga, and I ordered the beef quesadilla. Both were very good, served hot and fresh. The Mexican rice was excellent, and the pico de gallo was refreshing.
My experience with Jose Tequila's was alright. The service was ok. Entering the restaurant the Hotess was not friendly she was folding kids menus when we walked up. We patiently waited on her to finish folding before I had to say 2 please. Then with attitude she seated us. The waiter came over promptly and asked us what we wanted to drink. In no time our drinks arrived and we were ready to order. Our order came out. I ordered the Fajita salad and and chicken bowl. The food tasted ok and it was nothing to right home about. I'm not sure if it was a bad lunch but they can do better.
Just to preface this review, I arrived around five minutes after they opened and I went on a Saturday. With that in mind, the service was excellent! Staff were attentive and courteous. And the food was spectacular, very flavorful. The amount you get is pretty good for what you pay as well. Will definitely be returning for another meal here.
Cinco De Mayo was such a fun time!! They had live music inside and outside. The bar outside as well. The wait was very long (to be expected) but well worth the wait. The drinks were strong, food was excellent and came very fast!! They were extremely busy but the staff didn't show it at all. They were very patient and moved swiftly through all the people standing and dancing. I'll definitely be back again.
It was a very good place they had live music, the food was amazing and their drinks were the best so far. We had a big group with us and there was enough space for everyone. It seemed like people love having birthday parties there because there were 3 birthday parties in the 3 hours we were there. I would probably celebrate mine there as well. The staff was on point every time we needed something they were on it and the restaurant seemed busy so a very good job. I will definitely go back no doubt.
Parking lot had plenty of accessible as well as ordinary spots and was free of debris. Exterior entry was a little cramped. Sign on door stated masks not required if vax'd. Interior entry was very clean. This place smelled delicious! We were welcomed by a cheerful, masked greeter and shown to what appeared to be the 'first available' booth. I noticed guests were seated in only this area or at the bar. It was 12:30 PM on a Saturday but perhaps a server called out and they only opened part of the dining room(??) I can't say, but it seemed a bit cramped / confined. And yes - knowing I'd write a review, I *do* look for these things.Warm, crispy chips, creamy white sauce, and smooth, slightly spicy salsa were delivered to the table. Incredibly flavorful. The menus were the 'Monday - Friday Lunch Specials' menus; very, very nice perk - weekly specials on the weekend! We had about a minute to review them when our drink order was taken - tap brew and a frozen margarita. Oh my goodness! Beer was ice cold and the marg was perfect. Kudos to the barkeep.Food ordered - Burrito Texano mixed and Fajita Quesadilla, mixed. Arrived exactly 7 minutes after ordering. Meats were hot, fresh, cooked well. Lettuce, tomatoes, cheeses, sour cream were cold and fresh. The kitchen staff must be a well-oiled machine because the preparation and plating was flawless. Probably the best Americanized Mexican-inspired meal I've had.Table-touches by staff were regular but not overdone. Prices were quite reasonable. Atmosphere was adequate and appealing.Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. TV screens offered a variety of sports-themed viewing. Volume at reasonable level.Overall, two thumbs way up! Will definitely return and would definitely recommend!
Amazing street tacos that had chorizo, bacon and shrimp. The red sangria slush was amazing and tasted like red wine and not sugary like a lot of slushes...soooo yummy!!
First visit here. Very friendly staff. The fajita quesadilla was great. I loved the serrano-berry margarita.
I loved my meal. The best Carne asada I've had. It's always easy to find delicious Mexican food in the 757 and this spot will not disappoint. The staff is all very nice. The drinks are strong and the menu will have you wanting to try everything. Great for family, friends kids.
I had the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos and they were delicious. All you get is the tacos but they are dressed up beautifully with garnishes. They were crispy shrimp with just the right amount of sweet heat. The service was good and I also ordered a strawberry Margareta that was average at best but still good. O have been here before and once again they didn't disappoint.A couple across the bar ordered a drink called the DUI that looked big and strong enough to knock a horse on its butt. Overall a good choice for drinks and quick Mexican food.
