This review is for this IHOP only!! I had stop visiting IHOP years ago, because of the unprofessional service, lack of cleanliness and decline in the quality (taste) of food. This particular IHOP has won me over. I know it was because Ms. Shawna. Host and only waitress working at the time I went. The restaurant was had quite a few people already inside. More than one person should be required to serve alone. Anyway someone asked her was she working alone. She said a remarkable thing. Yes ,but it’s ok and I’ll make it work.” She did just that. She didn’t vent. She didn’t complain. She didn’t have an attitude. She continued to smile and serve the customers. Now that’s good…no great customer service!! Thanks Ms. Shawna.
If I had the ability to put 0 stars I would. There was glass and plastic shards in the oreo shakes. At first the manager Mr. Smith and staff was apologetic and genuinely concerned when my husband spit up blood but in the end it was clear they were just trying to get us out of the restaurant. Mr. Smith later said they discovered a lot of plastic shards in the Oreo pieces and the glass was from the chipped cups. The GM was notified but couldn't be bothered to call or check on my husband and the store avoided our calls and/or hung up if we did actually reach someone. Please beware if you choose eat here.
Simply one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in an IHOP. There were all of four tables that were taken and two wait staff. It took 15 minutes for me to get a cuppa coffee. The waiter did not bring condiments to the table until I asked. The waiter got my order wrong and forgot my hash browns. What happened to IHOP? It used to be a great experience always.
It's your same old IHOP cooking but since COVID, things changed. First off the website says closes at midnight and signage on door says open 24hours. Very confusing. Then the syrup comes in little cups with lids on them. You don't get to choose the flavor. We asked the waiter for salt and syrup and he disappeared. It felt like 15 minutes went by,when he returned to our table, he still didn't have the items we asked for.
It was so good and delicious, I had to go back Sunday night to eat there again. Service was great and I got a to go drink too.
It was the Worst ever. The girl we had. Took my Sister n law and my order. Now I order the same thing everytime I go.. only go maybe 3/4 times a year.. I know in the past... I. Want scramble with cheese,, no sausage but EXTRA bacon,, cooked.. got 2 pieces. Had to ask for my extra bacon. She had to keep going back to get everything for our order. Now I ask? If ordering Pancakes with Chocolate chips, where's my syrup? Don't you get SYRUP with your pancakes. I quest not, I had to get up and go get my SYRUP, due to her in the side room, talking with the cook. And loud enough we heard every word. And did this for 15 mins or so. My pancakes were getting cold. Then she was sitting down, rolling silverware. Did NOT come check us out. I will remember her. And if she is the only one working, I'll leave! Sorry I-hop. Ms Mary was awesome, she asked a few times if we were good. She was so sweet. Thank you Ms Mary
Service was great. The manager, Eric, was wonderful. He checked on all the guests and remembered returning guests names! Food was good. This restaurant is super clean!
They were short staffed but they did a good job. We were seated promptly and got our drink order in quickly. I ordered an Oreo shake to make the time go by and it came right out. It was made just right. The only complaint that I have is that they need to get bigger straws for the shakes. I ordered the classic chicken with bacon, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. It was made just right. I also got onion rings. They were cooked perfectly but didn't have a good beer battered taste that I am used to. They were hot, crispy, and had crunch. If they had the right flavor, they would have been perfect.The service was perfect. I want to say we had Keya for our server. She did an amazing job. She made sure our order was correct and I could hear her in the background training the other employees while we were there. She should be promoted to manager the way she ran the entire store. Good job.
Seriously the worst ihop or restaurant i have ever been too. Took an hour before even getting to order. Over 2 to get our food. And it came out all at different times. No one helped our waitress. Couldn’t find a manager. We had a larger party and not one other staff member could be bothered to help our waitress who obviously had no idea what she was doing. Obviously whoever the manager is here, should not be. I would never recommend this place.
Me and my friend both went to this restaurant, the service was slow and terrible, the other IHOP in nearby Yorktown is totally awesome!
