For $15 per person , it is what it is. The Hibachi and hot dishes is not so bad. The sushi is the cheap version. Mostly clump of rice with little fish and veggie. Ice cream comes individual containers. You can tell is scaled back by the quality of items. But the service is very good and very attentive. If you like a cheap buffet with good service , then this is it. But for me I rather pay a little more and find better, quality buffet.
Third time I've been here and third time I've been sick! This time was worse as 80% of the food was overheated and burned or dried out! Black mushrooms, burned pizza, potstickers so dried out they were stuck in place...egg rolls were glued to the bottom of the pan. Yuk! We will not be returning. The spinach cheese tasted like mayonnaise! Meat couldn't be eaten. We left in a hurry. No more.
Each time I'd ever gone I'd never had a bad experience. I only gave three stars because the last time I went I was looking forward to eating their food..but it looked so unappetizing. The noodles in the macaroni and cheese we're swollen like they were over cooked and you can tell that it had not been stirred. Presentation is everything, especially when you are dealing with food. Some of the countertops had not been wiped off, there was a big ball of rice and shrimp that someone probably dropped as they were getting their food. Cleanliness is everything.
I've been here a few times.I'd say we've never had a bad time. They have a pretty decent variety of items to appeal to your taste. They have a sushi section and hibachi on deck. Seating is accommodating, be it booth or table. And it seems pretty clean and the food on tap.I wouldn't recommend going an hour or two before they close as they stop making food but that's just not a good idea in general.Overall, solid..
It is what you can expect from a buffet like this. The sushi is stuffed with cream cheese, not a bunch of variety. I did find the meats over cooked on everything I tried. The fruit was great and some of the items looked good that I did not try. The sweet tea was about how I like it. It's not sugar water. Did not do any deserts this time so I can't weigh in on that. 04/14/22.
We travel all over North America and try Chinese, Sushi and Hibachi buffets. (see our reviews). This one was a disappointment. We visited on a busy Friday evening. We waited about 3-4 minutes alone at the front desk before we were seated. The facility is large and well lit. Lots of seating and ample free parking. Most (but not all) of the islands were filled with dishes to select. The sushi was acceptable. Every chicken dish we sampled was fried too crispy (hard to chew!) these included pepper chicken, General Tso chicken, sesame chicken and hibachi chicken. The fried pork dish was also tough and overcooked (breaded pork, onion, jalapenos). The hot and sour soup looked good but tasted like dishwater. The cream cheese rangoons were very good. The green beans were good. Every dish we tried was bland. Many looked like they had been sitting for hours although this was 6:30 pm on a Friday night and there were probably 40-50 patrons present. We skipped the desserts and salads entirely. Nothing inspiring there (although in fairness, that is not unusual at most Chinese buffets). There was a long line at the Hibachi grill and so we skipped it. Big mistake. That might have redeemed our experience. Although a sign claimed to require the wearing of gloves (re: Covid), only about half the patrons did so. Overall conclusions: typical layout and presentation. Average price. Food below average. I would not return if I lived locally.
NO stars given. Took my daughter here for her birthday. Worst mistake ever. First the dinning area was empty but everyone sitting in one area. So I didn't think to much of it. As the waitress sat us down asked for our drinks. So I got up headed over to the buffet everything looked dry mojority of the pans were empty. Grabbed a few pieces of fish sat down thinking they will refill the buffet shortly maybe had a rush. Nope I never seen anyone working the buffet. So I asked if anyone would be refilling the buffet. The lady tells me that she doesn't work the kitchen so she doesn't know.so I asked her if I could just pay for what my daughter and I had placed on our plate they started talking in there Chinese talk they proceed to tell me no once I sat down I agreed to the buffet and everything will be full price I asked were is the sign for that because I shouldn't have to pay for a buffet if you refuse to restock or put food on the bar . I upset because this use to be my favorite place to eat as far as buffet style trying not to make my daughter day any worse I payed the bill for two bite of fish. I will not be returning.
They were really slow at seating my fiance and myself mind you we were the only ones in line and they weren't packed. Then when they did seat you they had everyone seated in this really small section while they had 2 other big areas empty. The food was pretty good except the bar wasn't clean, a lot of the plates were dirty and greasy, the utensils were dirty and there was dried up food on the bar like it had been there for awhile. If you're thinking about going to a place to chill, have great conversation and eat good food, this is not the place. I mean the food is good but don't sit, eat and talk to long because then they start coming to your table asking if you have more guest coming since you been there for awhile. My fiance and I were there about an hour and we went to the bar 3 times and while eating we talked and tried to enjoy ourselves but the workers kept coming to our table asking if we were okay and if we had other people coming, so after the 4th time of them coming over, we got up and left didn't even finish the food we had because we felt like we were being rushed. Not sure why they did this but it was very rude and disrespectful. They weren't packed at all so it's not like they needed the space. We won't be going back
I always look forward to rolls at a buffet. The rolls were the cheapest most disgusting rolls I’ve ever tasted. They tasted like play-doh! The hibachi part was the only good part of the whole thing. They also need to spruce up the place. Looks very run down.
I wish I could give it NO Stars!!! Every time my family and I go there, they are rude and short with us. I was told once that I couldn’t let my 1 year old sip my drink because I needed to pay for a separate drink for him! I gave them a second try hoping for better service and we asked to sit somewhere not so crowded there was plenty of space elsewhere. She told us “No I’m not serving you people over there”. We instantly left because the racial disparity was too apparent! I won’t be spending money in a place where im not treated and greeted with decency because of the color of my skin. My money still spends the same!!! Sick of it!
