I prefer the bar side and to go with adult friends and family. Recommend the signature rum runner to start. Everything is amazing. I recommend anything on the raw bar menu. My go-to is the Waterman’s combo. The Salmon dinner is my next, but second only because of the carbs. If not for dietary reasons and splurging on the rum runner, I’d get it every time. A server recommended it once and I dream about it. Place is packed regularly. You’ll want to visit before and after main lunch and dinner hours.
This is the place for good fresh seafood and cold drinks. The service is consistently very good. They seem to have an abundance of staff to keep this place running smoothly. I can't wait to visit that area again so I can dine with them.
Had fish tacos and beer for lunch. Both were excellent. Good food,service and fair prices. They have a powerful air conditioner so plan accordingly
This is a popular local seafood restaurant that has traditional seafood choices and some of their own recipes as well. There is a large parking area for the restaurant, but due to the popularity of this place, it was full and we had to circle it a couple of times before a spot opened. We got on the waitlist for our party of three and were told that it would be about a 45 minute wait. It was actually 35 minutes when we were called. We waited in our vehicle and were called on our cell. We were seated and immediately greeted by our server who took our drink order and suggested an appetizer. We had already looked at the menu so we placed our entire order. We each got a different seafood entree and we were were all pleased with the quality of our food. The portions were adequate but not large. If you are a big eater, this will probably be small for you. The service was quick and our server was attentive and friendly. The food was moderately priced and in line with other restaurants similar to this. We would return based on this experience.
Came here to eat with my boyfriend before we spent time here at the beach; it’s a beautiful day. Food wise it’s 5 stars, my bf loved his fried shrimp and I equally enjoyed my coconut grouper sandwich. Service wise our server really sucked (tall, older guy, grayish hair); he might’ve also been on something too. We kept asking the neighboring server for refills, and to retrieve our food. We waited over 20 minutes for two sweet teas, 30 minutes for our stuffed mushrooms- we had to ask the good server to check on them for us and thankfully he brought us our main entrees too. Meanwhile, our original server has two more tables seated, I feel bad for them because they don’t know how long they’re going to have to wait, as I’m writing this one of those tables have walked out because they never received their drinks after waiting 45 minutes. The other table seated received their appetizers before their drinks (4 people) and they gave weird looks to the guy. Our server disappeared and wouldn’t come out for whatever reason it wasn’t even super busy. After that table left and he finally noticed while finally bringing out their drinks, he started bad mouthing those customers to the other table. Just not professional. Service wise it kinda ruined our experience on this pretty day but we still have the beach to go to! Kudos to the other server outside, I wish our tip could’ve went to you.Side note: my boyfriend ended up paying inside, ended up tipping $3 on a $57 tab. Bad service makes sense though.
Favorite of locals and visitors. 75-cent oysters on Mondays, can't beat that, or 2-for-1 oysters Rockefeller. Always good deals on rum drinks. Popular place for sure.

"I usually enjoy seafood at Harpoon Larry's; however, the portion size and the quality of the seafood have changed dramatically.I ordered the Harpoon Larry's seafood platter (broiled) after a suggestion from my waitress, and was very disappointed. After my so-called seafood platter arrived, all of the food including the flounder, scallops, shrimp, crab cake, and the hush puppies had decreased by 50%.Why am I being charged over $30 for a child's plate? And please STOP using COVID as an excuse for cheating people out of their food. I want what I paid for, and this is preposterous!I have been a loyal customer of Harpoon Larry's for year's but I will not return until management makes some drastic changes." Excellent place to have a good time. The food is very good. Delicious seafood. Fresh. Service very friendly and polite.Excellent as usually. I've been here many times over the years. I've Never have had a bad experience. This visit was probably the best. Steak was cooked to perfection. Seafood is always fresh. The green apple coleslaw was very refreshing. And the homemade Key lime pie is the Best.

Harpoon Larry’s has delicious food and friendly, fast service. I love this place! The ambiance is great, it’s family friendly, great for date night, fun to go with friends, and did I mention the fantastic food?!
