Very good food but they definitely have a kitchen management issue. My table of fourwaited 50 minutes before receiving our food and to make the wait worse most of our food was cold. On my plate everything besides the eggs were cold. The taste and flavors of the food were good so this place definitely has potential. Hopefully they can improve their service.

:::Updated:::I really want to speak to the service. 3.5stars because the service was a turnoff.I was referred to this place by a friend who said the food was really good. Fast forward to Sunday brunch, I arrived with my party - hungry and excited to try their food! Side bar, fun and fresh design ?Our party stood at the door for about 10 minutes without a greeting. When the hostess/waitress acknowledged us, we were asked how many in our party? Then she proceeded to grab 3 place settings, and placed the settings on the on the edge of the closest table and walked away. None of us wanted to assume that was meant for us, so we stood and waited. About 5 mins later, she came back and asked if we didn’t want to sit there- to which I replied, “we didn’t want to assume that we were supposed to sit here”. Total time from being acknowledged to sitting and getting drink orders in was about 20 minutes. Absolutely NO issues with the waiting- the issue lies with the lack of professionalism. We placed our order and it was another 50 minutes before the food came out. No communication from the waitress about updates on our meals. We had a nice conversation with the table beside us who shared they had eaten the food previously but it was their first experience dining in and the service was not very good. They also mentioned that they had noticed the interaction with us waiting and they way our party was seated. ***It’s also worth mentioning that it was very busy and it didn’t appear that there were enough people working. We all agreed that the lack of service was largely in part to them being swamped.***When the food finally arrived- we were ready to dig in! The syrups on the plates had a thick film on top which indicated our food had been sitting in the window. I was missing my syrup from my plate and the plating was inconsistent - these things are no big deals to me but since this is a review - it’s worth noting. The side order of grits began to harden on top and on the sides. In the photos, you can see how it’s separated from the sides of the cup. BUT even though the food had been sitting- it was still tasty, I gobbled down my grits and a few of us agreed, “it was worth the wait”. Honestly, it’s been about 4 hours since we ate and I’m still full. I am always in support of local small businesses and we need to support these businesses as much as possible. A word of advice to the owners, invest in your team!! I would highly recommend mandatory courses on workplace professionalism and hospitality. Being in the restaurant/service industry is much more than greet and seat.I am rooting for this establishment!! I hope that when I return at the end of summer- things have shaped up in the service department. Looking forward to updating this review at my next visit and give it 5 stars!!

This was my first time at Greenyard Grill and it won’t be the last. Good food and vibes all around. Staff was very friendly. There’s an in house magician that’s very entertaining. It’s in a nice location off of I-664. Owner came around frequently to check on guests and appears to genuinely care about the guest’s experience. It’s nice to see a change in the brunch experience in this area.

**Overall Vibe**The Atmosphere and Vibe of Greenyard is amazing everyone is polite and very professional the food and drinks are prepared beautifully and the taste is to die for if you haven’t been your missing out nbs-Noto?

As a business consultant, I was pretty impressed by this start up restaurant. There’s always work to do to grow, but so far the culture the company is creating has a chill vibe and they couldn’t have picked any better chefs!! The CHEFS have mastered the art of delicious, esthetically pleasing food!!! So good.Every dish is prepared fresh! I can truly appreciate the wait. I must say, our wait was only 15mins. Quite honestly, Outback takes twice as long. I believe that we as a society have grown extremely impatient these days. If waiting for “fresh,” delicious food is an issue for “you”, this is not the place to eat. It IS however, a great place to unwind, have a delicious meal, vibe to good music, check out some magic, and host a group brunch.

The food was delicious! I got the “Bang Bang Shrimp Toast” with a “Greendrop Martini” on the side ! (So good!) As my main dish I got the shrimp & chicken “Rasta Pasta”. The owner and waiter & rest of the staff were simply amazing & welcoming . Great customer service & a very dope vibe! I could come here countless times ! Shout out to this BLACK OWNED business !

The food was okay. Nothing special and I wouldn’t return even if someone else paid for my food. They only had brunch available which is not what the website said. The chicken tenders were under seasoned and the waffle was too sweet. The lemonade tasted like a Kool Aid packet with no sugar. The manager was nice but just stood there without saying anything until we realized she was the manager after we told the server we had an issue with the undercooked grits.

Pro: venue/decor mimosa. Cons: I don't know if it was an off day or if my first experience was just an anomaly. The only thing that was decent was the steak. Everything else was underwhelming. Two items was inedible. Chewy and bland French toast and hard/burnt cold home fries. The waitress, who was nice but didn't come back to get our food order for like 30 mins even tho we tried to get her attention the three times she past, offered to have them remade but it took forever to come out. The order came out in pieces and it was a long wait in between the items. The place has the potential but I feel they need first, more staff (I know its a shortage in the market). But the staff they do have need to be trained. First the cook on quality edible food. Staff on customer service and reasonable expectations and sense of urgency. I'm debating to try one more time or just go elsewhere.

I came down for Mothers Day, and had a blast. Thus restaurant is perfect for ANY occasion or group of people. The staff is awesome, and super friendly. They had magician walking around to all the tables which was really freaking cool! The manager was also walking around and checking on tables, which was incredible. The food is also phenomenal!!! I ordered the Chicken egg and cheese waffle sandwich and was blown away!! The portion sizes are amazing, and everything tasted wonderful. We had such a fun time, that when the check came, we were so surprised at how affordable everything was. I expected to pay twice as much then I did. I will definitely be back with my friends un the very near future!!!!

Not impressed with food. Staff was friendly, and environmentwas clean. Food was less then expected based on pictures on fb. Portion size were small. More than likely I wouldn't return or recommend.
