I decided to try the Cajun chicken sub and my question is where's the chicken? Look at the pictures. One side of the sub head three thin slices of chicken on it the other side had slightly more. There was one jalapeno per side there was one slice of onion per side. There was One little small glob of cheese in one spot on the sub. Couldn't find any on the other side. What it did have was lots of nasty cooked lettuce (That's my fault I should have read the ingredients better). But who puts chopped lettuce on a sub with hot ingredients. Especially when it's a takeout sub. You have to know that the lettuce is going to be cooked quickly and it's going to be completely disgusting. My wife ordered the same thing and hers was about the same quality as mine so it wasn't a mistake. And the bread was dry and hard. For $10 per medium sub they could have done betterMy 8-year-old son ordered a meatball sub kids meal. He took one bite and he was done. He said the meatballs were really soft and tasted funny. I felt one of the meatballs and it felt like a sponge. Like a really cheap frozen meatball. I can't What he meant by tasted funny but it looked like the sauce was burnt. Also my daughter didn't like her turkey sub either. She's five so she didn't really go into a lot detail but she wouldn't eat it.And if that wasn't enough my daughter ordered a cookie with her meal and ended up getting a prepackaged Rice krispie treat. So for I think maybe $14 for their meals they got a small and a Rice krispie treat.
***I like Firehouse Subs but...***I like Firehouse Subs but I feel like I've kind of grown tired of it. You get great portions, even though it feels a bit pricey. But the meat is just a little bit too sweet for me, and I grow tired of it.I do love their Freestyle machine and their Cheery Lime-Aid is FANTASTIC.The service was good on the day I went (April 18th, 2022). The employees were in a great mood and were cutting it up (in a good way) the whole time.
Came while on a road trip from New York.. Very friendly staff and quick service.. Food was amazing as always when it comes to Firehouse subs
Always good never a bad experience.A lady seemed mad when I came in last week saying the drink machine was froze. Kinda roughly slammed the door on it.Not enough to drop overall experience
