First time visiting Dino's. We were with a large group. The service was very good. The food was terrific. The Dino Special is a money sandwich! They deserve the five stars!
Had the best sub I'd eaten in a long time. We had a large party there and still had great service. Prices were good and like always a major plus was the beer was ice cold.
Great service, amazing food, never disappoints! It's a must have if you like pizza and appetizers!
Service was amazing came I'm sat down spent about 60 for 4 people and they give you 32 Oz cups so they don't have to constantly keep refilling your cup
I haven’t been here since I was in high school. I’m 64 now. I won’t go back again. Maybe they are known for pizza and subs. But not lasagna. Was absolutely terrible. After each bite, I keep feeling sick. Like I wanted to throw up. I finally got through half and had to stop. Took it home. Warmed it up, hoping maybe a fluke yesterday. Today, first bite and I felt sick. The taste is terrible. Threw it out. Paid 13 something for a lasagna that was just a size of a salad bowl. Not even filled up to the rim. I say maybe a half an inch high. Looked more like a casserole. Not worth the price. Go to Sal of victor in Williamsburg. Learn their recipe. Taste great and size is good at Sal’s. I eat all their lasagna in one sitting. The salad, was a good portion, but the onions were so hot, I had to remove most of them. I normally will eat all the onions. I love onions. It looked like white onions, unless I’m wrong. But white onions get old, they get hot. My husband was happy with his pizza. The med size was a great size and he ordered extra pepperoni and mushrooms. First time he actually got lots of pepperoni and mushrooms. Most place don’t give you really extra. To me the mushrooms tasted rubbery, but he loved his pizza. Brought home a meatball sub for my son. He said it tasted about the same as Harris tetter. So to save the four or five dollars difference, I just get Harris tetter subs. Was totally disappointed. I won’t go back again. It’s a very popular place. Lots of people were there. Full house. But it just not for me. Advise is to taste your lasagna and see what you can do to improve it. Picture Before throwing it out. After throwing it out. What a waste of money..
Went twice. Both times they brought the pizza and had to wait for them to bring plates while the pizza sat there. Had to go up and ask for our condiments. Pizza better than chain but have had more enjoyable locally. Don't understand the poor service.
We had delicious salads with garlic knots and mozzarella cheese sticks. The service is tremendous, the food is over the top delicious and the prices are very agreeable. You get large portions in every dish. We try something different everytime we go and it's all been awesome! We drive from the Foxhill area in Hampton to go have dinner at Dinos in Denbeigh, Newport News. We'll worth the trip!!
Just had my first Dino's pizza in years. Still huge, still perfect, still real New York style pizza. If, like me, you grew up in NY and miss the pizza, this is where you go!
This place has always been the best local pizza spot.
