Got cupcakes for my son birthday today. They were moist, flavor was spot on and the frosting was excellent! Will return for more and recommend! Thanks Couture we love you all!
Horrible!! They have really gone downhill. Cupcakes are small and I couldn't even eat mine it was like a sponge, hard, not moist at all!! Smallcakes is the place to go. They are what Couture Cakes used to be if not BETTER!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & $ at Coutures !!!
My husband and I tried the strawberry, cookies and cream, banana and red velvet... And all of them were disappointing. The cupcakes were very dry and icing had a bad after taste, almost as though they were old and have been frozen. The flavors in general were not good and we did not even consume them; which is unacceptable for $2.50 per cupcake (regular size). Wish we would've read the reviews prior to going because it seems to be the general consensus.

I absolutely love this place! The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Covington, are 100% top notch people and the cupcakes are incredible. They even have a dessert called "Banana split mousse", which I didn't even know was a thing. It's pure heaven. The chocolate cheesecake and peanut butter fudge cupcakes were so good, I actually said "Are you kidding me?!" out loud upon tasting them. There is no better place in the city to get cupcakes. I paid roughly $3-$4 per cake and was immensely satisfied. I will happily give the Covington's my business again! You will not be disappointed!
I was visiting my daughter in the area so we wanted to try different bakery cupcakes. Was so disappointed in these. I took a bite and the frosting tasted like soap I threw it out. Thought well benefit of doubt would try different flavor it was even worse. I sent email to them to let them know maybe there was a mishap but never heard back. I do not recommend .
It was a very cold day in December I saw that they do keto cake in the reviews, so I decided to give them a try! A sign out side the door said write down what you want to order ...of course I didn't come prepared with pen and paper... The door was locked and another sign said ring door bell ! I was met at the door by an abrupt man that barely cracked the door and shoved a clip board at me! I was not allowed to come in! I asked about keto cakes, I was told "No! We don't make them!" I will never go back! Rude and disappointing experience...Ps. I Had on a mask!
Cupcakes were old and dry. Not use what happened the cupcakes not as good as they once was.
10-23-21, I had a taste for some delicious bakery cupcakes made from scratch. I was happy to support a black business, but come on now... why did y’all sell me those old stale cupcakes!?!? I seen y’all had some decent reviews and thought I’d try.... I definitely will not be back. The quality of the cupcakes were terrible... thick, hard, stale icing that taste like nothing but sugar. The cupcake itself was dry, flavorless, and stale as well. One of the cupcakes, I just took a couple bites and didn’t even finish it. I can’t speak for every item on the menu, but this dozen cupcakes with multiple flavors I got tonight were gross. I seen a couple of your responses to your negative reviews, and nobody has arrived, there’s always room for improvement. Please don’t sell people your old cupcakes that taste like you baked them a week ago. Y’all had a lot of different flavors but I would have preferred quality over quantity and a nice presentation. 0/10 rating, I will not be back.
This place is great. Always good, friendly service, reasonable prices, and EXCELLENT cupcakes.
