This is by far the most idiotic chipotle location I’ve experienced. It sucks because we live close, however this store guaranteed to either be out of critical ingredients when you’ve already ordered online, or be only accepting of online orders when you visit in person to make sure you get the order right. Only takes online orders and allowed me to place an order for over $6 of chips and then didn’t have any chips and refused to give a refund. The owner is a professional scam artist and should be tried criminally for doing this to myself and 100s of others on a daily basis.
Went to chipotle for the first time today. The employees were not interested in customer service. Seemed like they wanted you out as quick as you came in. Ordering process sucked. Restaurant is dirty as well. I’m not impressed with the food or price. Not worth the money or time.Update: it’s been a year and I gave them another shot. They still suck, still terrible order process, they put stuff on without asking then took it off and still gave me the wrong bowl. Ended up with something I didn’t even want when I got home. Terrible franchise I really don’t know how they are still open.
The grill had huge buildup of crud on it. The server gave me and my crew VERY inconsistent portions. Chips were very stale. When we asked for non stale chips the guy behind the counter gave us another bag without looking, but what are ya gonna do ig
This seems to be a well-run Chipotle. Rice was cooked, the fajita vegetables were delicious, the beans were well seasoned, and the guac was perfect. They were also really hospitable with the amount of food they gave (always appreciated). My only complaint is that their online estimation for meal prep is always off. If it says it is going to take 15 minutes, my experience is it is more like 30 or so. The service isn't always welcoming but they aren't rude either.
I came to the chipotle, by CNU on Warwick Boulevard in Newport News. Can I say that the staff all has an attitude I mean every single one of them is upset because they have to work. There were three employees in the bag dealing with Food one of them had a cut on his hand and he was not wearing gloves.
Chipotle needs to hire more staff. My order was 60 minutes late. Staff trying hard but Chipotle Corporate is not providing tools for success.
Food 5 stars. Service 1 star.Had the pork bowl Saturday and the beef bowl Sunday. The pork was better. Nice way to get a nutritious meal. I'll go back and try some of their other offerings.-------------UPDATE: Went in 3:30 on Saturday April 17. Cashier/server was finishing with another customer and said she would be with me in a moment. She commenced to restock the the area they make your dish in. The other 2 women behind the counter were busy, 1 sweeping and the other cleaning. The manager came out an helped stock too. Everyone was busy getting ready to take care of customers as I stood there for 5 minutes waiting to be waited on. The manager finally decided to take my order when other customers walked in. After he prepared my food he asked if there was anything else I wanted. I asked for chips. When I got home with my food I found no hcips in the bag.
I've lived in the area for 5 years now and this is the worst chipotle I've ever been to. They randomly decide to only accept online orders but don't make that information known until you walk up to their counter. Last time i went the staff were very rude after i told them i didn't have an online order placed. Overall, this chipotle is extremely unreliable and the staff have been known to be rude and unprofessional. Recommend you drive the extra couple miles to another chipotle if that's what you want.
Terrible service. It's awful to order online . When you go to pickup the food It's never ready and many times It's missing some of the items that I selected to have on my bowl. If there was a number less than 1 star, I would give it to this place.
