Actually, 0 star experience. Had to rate to submitVery disappointed with the crystal scallop. Mostly consisted of sliced bland veggies, no tasting scallops with a watery sauce at the bottom of container.Very disappointed when a clump of orange chicken pulled of the container consisted of tough overly red peppered chicken pieces. Added were a couple of stale orange slices.Unsatisfied customer
This place is horrible and I advised all to stay away. The noodles were rubbery (over cooked), fried wings were cooked in bad oil, and the spring roll was not good.
I have given the place a few trys in a pinch and every time is disappointing. The food for starters is terrible. Bland and not authentic. Half of it tastes frozen and uedible. They ha e yet to get the order right. This place has just no care for the customer stay clear.
I called around 8:45pm tonight to put in a pick up order. Their hours clearly indicate 9:30pm closing time, and 10pm starting tomorrow. I’ve called and picked up here before and they don’t have the best phone customer service etiquette, but it’s never been a dealbreaker for me. However, tonight the lady who answered was very short from the start. The first thing she said was “how long you be, we close at 9pm?”. I said, “oh you’re closing at 9pm because your hours are noted as 9:30pm?”. She said “yep”, and then that was it. I will not patronize them again. You’re MUCH better off at Lucky Chinese down Hull near Genito beside Bojangles. Their service and food is always consistently good!
Zheng Garden offers a wealth of options for appetizers and entrees. The prices are reasonable and the portions are ample. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a good choice for a relaxing meal with family or friends.
I picked up the order. It was accurate but egg drop was tasteless. Spring roll partially full. Chicken was stringy and fatty. Never again.
Can't give a bad review because the food was cooked properly and the order was correct. I'm a little bewildered by the flavor profile as it was a little bland for the standard Chinese takeout. The brown sauce almost tasted like it was made by a white dude googling "how to make Chinese food" and he missed a key ingredient that gives it that unmistakeably flavor. Zheng gave me my fix for Chinese food, but left me wanting a little more.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant. Great friendly service with an upscale decor. Food is cooked perfectly, especially their vegetables. Highly recommend!
Always good food and friendly service. Restaurant is always clean, the beer cold and food hot. Definitely on the list of regular, small mom & pop places to eat in the area.
Good food and the staff is super friendly. All around a very nice experience. And it’s one of the few Chinese places actually open for dine in right now.
