We ordered a large portion of food over the phone. They told us that it would be an hour plus to be delivered; that was fine. When our food arrived, the driver did not approve of the tip that I added. Visibly frustrated, he explained how far he had driven and "clarified" the tip amount several times. He was clearly upset and even angry. I tried to flag him down to give him more, but he sped off. I eventually called the restaurant to add some more to his tip...to be a good customer, but he did not have to be rude, because some people tip $0. On top of all that, the food wasn't as good as it used to be, but I will give them some grace since it was a busy weekend.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE!!! I ordered and paid for my food at 7:47 pm tonight. It is now 9:38 pm, and I still have not received my food! I have called the restaurant three times, and no one can tell me where the food is. I informed them that I was on my way to pick up the food. The person on the phone told me that there was nothing that they could do since the order was already out for delivery. I informed her that I had already paid for the food and that they needed to have it ready by the time that I arrived. This is completely unacceptable! I used to love this place; however, in the last year or so I have found that the food doesn't taste as good and the customer service is awful. Again, I highly recommend that you find another restaurant.
Food is decent. If you are ordering take out be prepared to add atleast 30min to the 45min they usually tell you. On top of that the person take the orders is quite rude. What seemed to be the manager didn't really care and gave the generic "oh I'm sorry we are super busy." Which isn't really the case because it is always like that no matter what time we order.
First time - probably last. Did take out. Crab rangoons are supposed to be light and crispy - these were like shoe leather as they get soggy when served in a wax bag. Fried rice had absolutely no flavor. Both our entrees were labeled (hot) - they were not at all. Glad I was home to be able to add a lot more curry powder just to make it taste of curry. It had plenty of onions in it though! Hot & sour soup was average. Disappointed that we cannot find a good/great Chinese restaurant around here.
I’ve been going here for years and though the service has never been the best it has gotten really bad over the years. Pre-pandemic the food was consistently good however that is no longer. When the food is good it’s great! When the food is off it’s horrible. The service is what has caused me to not return. The staff is extremely rude. I’ve had numerous encounters with the lady at the register who normally checks you out and I just can’t continue to spend my money there. She is so rude and has ZERO customer service skills. Honestly I would recommend you find another Chinese cuisine and spend your money with people who appreciate their customers. Would NOT recommend.
6 of us went here for supper. We all ordered different entrees, and everyone loved theirs. I had Crispy Honey Chicken, my Daughter had Moo Shu Chicken, my friend had 5 taste chicken, my other friend had Shrimp fried rice, my husband had spicy shrimp
I used to live near here and would walk and eat here as a kid. It had been over 20 years since I last visited and was pleased they were still here. I took my family here and what a wonderful experience we had!The place was very clean and elegantly decorated. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing! You get a true quality experience here and we will not be waiting another 20 years to visit again!I loved the egg drop soup and their egg rolls were fresh and delicious!
My first time eating here and I ordered take out. I got the General’s Shrimp and it was excellent! I asked for extra sauce and was charged for it but, that’s to be expected. Shrimp egg rolls were also excellent. Everyone was kind and food came out fast. I enjoyed a cocktail while I was waiting and I will be back soon! Can’t wait to try something else!
I typically don’t write bad reviews but this had to be done. The portion size was very small. The General Tso’s chicken was hard and chewy. Waste of money. I’m glad all my teeth are real because if they weren’t I would be in be trouble. I’m writing this review as I eat and the food just tastes worse and worse. Please choose somewhere else to eat
I order food from there, which is the only place that I will get Chinese food for over 20 years. I’m disappointed with me telling them I have cash and how much cash I have and the driver came to my house without change. And he had no care at all. My food came to $33. I just had $40 but I needed $5 back. He says he only has $3 in change. Y’all might not think it was much it was for me I needed to get medicine. It would be different if I didn’t tell the restaurant in advanced. I call the restaurant he doesn’t do anything, but key in the system saying I will right down to bring change. Go figure. I know next time if they don’t have the change, they will be short. And I will call the cops
