Rochelle was my server. She was attentive and I watched her work so hard all over the restaurant with customers. She is an asset.
Hull Street and Speeks Dr location is usually better staffed than other close by locations. Kim as Always was an excellent representation of service with a smile. Food was excellent.
Foods ok, Waitresses seen coughing without covering their mouths and their fingers on the inside of cups. The place is ALWAYS dirty.
When you want Waffle House, nothing else will do. This one is clean, fast, and exactly what you'd expect.
There was one customer but multiple dirty tables when we walked in. You could sit where you wanted. We sat at the bar since it was clean. The waitress started out nice then she became upset because people were showing up and she wanted to eat. She nicknamed herself tornado next to her name tag. There were other employees but I guess she had to serve whoever was on the right side. Employees should be able to get a break so they can eat. After that she was mumbling under her breathe and not very helpful. The food portions were small but the price was too.
Coffee was luke warm and so was the waffle. Ask for another cup of coffee. Waitress was really nice and apologized for the coffee.
Sat down for a Christmas Eve meal with my family. The host/waiter began rudely by telling us there were no tables and we would have a wait. We were ok with that and were as pleasant as we could be knowing it was a holiday. Got seated after about 15 minutes. Less time waiting on the table than we thought. Rude waiter dropped off menus and never came back. Like EVER. The family that got there 10 minutes after us got their drinks, ordered, and got their food. Waiter still never came to our table.. Never even a look from the rude server as we walked out. Every year we bless our server with a huge tip. If his reason for working in a job that requires him to work on holidays is to make money... well, he missed out on a VERY large tip.
The food quality was a bit below average but it was around lunchtime. Tammy was awesome
Our waitress was rude, short, unfriendly, and surely made our breakfast experience unpleasant!! We had to ask her to wipe off the bar, which she did with an attitude! Our order came out incorrect, and she was just rude! We said "please" and "thank you" hoping to make her less unpleasant!! But it didn't help!! She did not have a name tag on, probably because she didn't want to be recognized!! Won't be coming back here!! Too many other breakfast places around to put up with this kind of treatment!!
Went in for dinner at 8:00. Rafael was the only employee working. He did a hell of a job. Kind, courteous and hard working. We need more people like Rafael!
