Wow. Does live up to the gastropub moniker. Good was delicious and service was great and fast. They seem to focus on gluten free options though we did not try any
Very nice and casual atmosphere, great service and food. The fish & chips is the best around. Huge portion and fried to crispy perfection. The homemade desserts are always on point. Try the banana pudding when it’s available.
My husband and I have dined at the other location several times and have always had the most delicious meals. We didn't realize there was a location closer to us, so we were pleasantly surprised to meet another couple at this location for brunch on a Saturday morning. The atmosphere was charming and our waitress very attentive. 3 of us ordered the Chicken and the Egg (which we had at the other location and absolutely devoured because it was so good, so we highly recommended it to our companions) and 1 ordered the Cali omelet. The omelet was the star of our brunch! It was so good! The rest of us were a little disappointed with our meals. We all felt that they were a little overdone. Still good, but not great, as it had been at the other location.Still, we will come again. Everyone has an off day, and I want to have that omelet next time!
Nice decor & ample parking with excellent food. Has both indoor & outdoor seating. We were a party of 20, and it took awhile for food to be served. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. One meal ticket was evidently lost, and they were served much later than anyone else. Several people mentioned how much they enjoyed their food, especially the Cuban Reuben, which was so large, no one finished it. Don’t overlook ordering the she crab soup, it is fabulous and loaded with crab.
My group of friends and I went here yesterday for lunch and I wanted to give a shout out to both the very excellent food and cocktails and also our server Bryan B. who was great. He was super friendly and helpful. We had a party member with celiac and he was quick to offer gluten free options and assure us the kitchen staff would take extra care with their meal. Thanks dude! ?
We had a nice lunch with friends from out of town at Toast. It was my second lunch visit. I think their lunch and brunch menus are nicely diverse, and the staff are attentive. There was a mistake on one order, but the waiter dealt with it promptly and the manager even came over to apologize. They've always seemed very busy when I've been there, so I recommend making reservations.
Great gluten free choices! I had gluten free pancakes with blueberry compote & bacon. So yummy. Service was nice & we made a reservation ahead of time so we were seated right away. Recommend for sure
The Salmon BLT Salad was amazing. Kelly our waitress was also amazing. This was out first time and it will NOT be our last. All the food that came out that went by the table we were at made us want to keep ordering. We can wait to come back and eat again. Everyone was super nice and the atmosphere was great!! Thank you!!!
If you are lucky enough to have Alease serve you, rest assured that you are in the best hands in Virginia. From beginning to end, she was warm, friendly, and super helpful with menu recommendations. She wasn't just serving us, she was seating new patrons and topping off other tables. She really can do it all.We shared the parmesan truffle fries with a house ketchup... we ate the entire bucket. My better half got the rib gouda mac for his entree- with a semi sweet BBQ sauce on the most tender small rack of ribs I've ever had since moving here. The Mac was creamy.I ordered the tuna tacos, which were on special.I couldn't finish them all. The tuna was incredibly fresh and super rich. Clean restrooms, friendly staff. Toast is definitely a new favorite.
It Was So Good!!! For brunch wife had the Cajun RibEye and I had Corned Beef Hash. Again, just So Good!!! Trevor, our bartender/waiter was fun to watch. Coffee and Bloody Mary's were So Good!!! This was my first time here and I can hardly wait to go back - and eat at the bar!
