We went with a large group (12). Took a half hour to get a table (called hour and half earlier but they don’t do call ahead.) Food was just ok. Got pizza (NY style). It was only warm - not hot at all. Flavor was ok. Also got Greek salad and Pear Gorgonzola salad. Again just ok. Server was attentive and friendly.
Excelente service. Good price . Good food. My family and me love it .
We have lived in Midlothian for 16 years and never had Sergios so today my daughter and I went for lunch. We really liked it !! Our server was incredibly nice and our food came out hot and very quickly! We will definitely be back!
Two terrible visits means we won't be back. We visited on a Saturday evening about a month ago. The waitress was so overwhelmed, she forgot to bring us our salads, that we asked for many times. She finally brought them in to go boxes along with our check. We decided to try again, maybe she was just new. So we visited on a Thursday night about a week ago and were seated at a table in the bar area. It took the bartender a really long time to acknowledge us. We ordered waters to start since our wait caused us to miss out on happy hour. We finally got to order appetizers, received them, ate them and sat waiting to be noticed so we could order food. Finally gave up and called in a to go order. It took longer to get our check and pay for the apps than it did for them to make our to go order. I asked to speak to a manager on the way out but that was a waste of time because Mike just found the whole situation funny. If you don't mind being ignored, not getting what you ordered and getting laughed at then this is the place for you! If you want to enjoy your meal and be a valued customer, go anywhere else. Should've saved the money from the renovation and used it hire...well, wait a minute, should've saved the money from the renovation and just closed the doors for good. So many better options out there..
Pretty disappointing. Paid the up charge for sweet potato fries and they were frozen in the middle (and there were only like 10…so I don’t recommend that). My daughters chicken strips were bland and tough. My other daughter had a grilled cheese on an end piece of bread. Regular fries were okay, but overall food was expensive and a major disappointment. My sister just moved nearby and this place looked promising but it did not deliver. They won’t be returning!
I love love love the pizza here! There was a wait to be seated, as expected for a Saturday evening, but once we got to our table, the service was prompt and our waitress was very polite and attentive. The mozzarella sticks and the rolls are so delicious! I can't wait to dine here again!
great service and awesome food can never go wrong with Sergio's Pizza and Italian restaurant
We spend several months a year with our son in Midlothian. During the shutdown we were trapped out of country. Upon our return we headed to Sergio's for their excellent food and warm atmosphere. However they remodeled, expanding and creating a cold, no personality bar. Lost was the cozy space and smells where you could pretend you were in Naples having a glass of pinot on a lazy afternoon. Or at least the Italian section of Buffalo. We talk about going back, but always end up somewhere else.
Went to sergios last night. Had not been in a while. The place has been remodled and they got so many things right. Lots of space so no wait. The menu is huge not like some of these new places on hull street that have 7 things on the menu. The drink menu is great with a bunch of exotic drinks which my wife loves. Must try the lettuce wedge. Its amazing. Finally and this may be silly but the way i paid for dinner was so easy. The girl swiped my card and set her hand held in front of me with tip options which i always love after a couple of glasses of wine. Two touches with the finger and we were out the door. Great evening.
So 1st time here last night and I was pretty pleased with my experience. We had Jessica as our server and she was funny and efficient. I was trying to decide between 3 different dishes and she immediately helped me choose the lasagna w/meatballs and boy was I happy I listened!!It was so yummy and filling. The 'Italian wedding soup on the other hand was very bland and taste like it came from a can. My friend had 1 of the gnocchi dishes and he happily cleared his plate. Lastly we shared a 'Flight' w/ 4 different craft beers that were very unique and good. Overall I think Sergio's deserves a 2nd visit and will then probably make it to my 'Favorites' list.$$$
