We had River City Wood Fired Pizza cater our daughter's wedding reception this past Saturday, and they were AMAZING! Not only were they the friendliest people, but they went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great. The pizza was SO yummy, and we never ran out (2 hours, all you can eat). The salad was delicious and unlimited as well. They made a few accommodations for a few of our guests and never complained about it. They were great with communication leading up to the event, showed up on time, and checked in with us before departing the venue. HIGHLY recommend. All the guests LOVED the pizza and raved about how delicious it was. Will definitely keep an eye out for the food truck in the future!!
I can't emphasize enough how positive of an experience my wife and I had with River City Wood Fire when we hired them for our wedding reception. From trying to decide on a catering service to the day of the event, Joe and his team were amazing. The initial tasting was a blast and showed just how many excellent pizzas they have to offer. Between that time and the event, they were very communicative and helpful regarding our reception. On the day of the event, they had everything working efficiently and were very thoughtful about providing a good experience to our dairy-free and gluten-free guests. They are so considerate that they even made an extra pizza for a friend who could not attend due to an illness.I cannot say enough good things about this company. Seriously, I could go on and on. If you want excellent food from a relaxed and organized caterer, go with River City Wood Fire.
Our favorite food truck. They were gracious when I ordered a non vegetarian pizza by mistake and made me a new one. We look forward to seeing them at our favorite brewery, Midnight Brewery
My wife and I went to Hardywood West Creek on Mothers Day to take advantage of the Food,Beer and Entertainment. We noted that River City was one of the Food Trucks on site and we decided to give them a try. From the ease of ordering to the speed of delivery they did not disappoint! The self service tablet based ordering system was easy to operate and ensured that We got what We wanted. Ten minutes after ordering I received a text and my wife were presented with two hot delicious pizzas! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Good food... They visited our neighborhood tonight. I got the Little Italy with Italian Sauage (Fresh basil, crushed tomato sauce, olive oil, seas salt, parmesan, & mozzarella. (Red Margherita Pizza)) and the Triple H wings. The wings were more sweet than spicy, but I wasn't sure what kind of sauce since there wasn't a description online. Enough for two meals/people.
Their food truck has a big open oven where the pizza are cooked over what appears to be a wood fire. They are very friendly and accommodating. The pizzas are delicious. Even the crust, which I don’t usually eat.
My husband, our friend, and I were blown away by the quality of these pizzas and the customer service experience that comes with them. They staff are extremely prompt, kind, and put meticulous effort into every detail of the pizza making process. Not to mention, the ranch was to die for. I highly suggest getting a side of ranch with every order. We will absolutely be back!
River City Wood Fire catered our wedding and the experience was incredible. Joe the owner and his staff have always been extremely professional. The food is phenomenal and have such amazing consistency.

We had River City Wood Fire cater our wedding and we couldn’t be more impressed. The pizza is delicious and the Vegan pizza went beyond expectations. I’m allergic to dairy and I have never had a Vegan pizza that tastes like regular pizza until now! All of our guests loved it and are still talking about it weeks later. After running around crazy all night, we were so happy that the owner left us some extra pizzas for us to take home. Thank you for making our day extra special!
