So I’ve visited this location on several times and the food is very good when it’s done right. However there were some downers to this location. There was older grey haired guy who took our order he needs to be retrained in customer service! Their bathroom is disgusting I had a take out order so I didn’t sit, but the inside was filthy. And my wife found a hair in her sandwich. I can’t go back there the idea of it turns my stomach.

Been going here for many years but yesterday changed all that. The place was filthy. From the nasty floor, food under tables, dirt and dust all around the floor level of beverage machine. Food behind cushions in the booths. This didn’t happen in a day. Husband and I got broccoli and cheddar soup and it had a clabbered consistency. Two pick twos for $30. I’ll go out for steak at that price. A great disappointment.
5/24/22 Order delivery using Panera website. Have a problem with missing items but no one will answer the phone at Panera. It rings and rings and then just stops ringing (no one answers). So, they do not care if they messed up your order. There is no way to tell them. Started calling at 11:50, still calling at 1:36 pm...no answer, even if you choose to speak to a manager.5/25/22 Called again at 9:30 am, same....no answer.
Will omit items in your packaged to go order so you have to come back. Hope your not on a tight schedule. Because I wasted extra time dealing with Panera I wasn't actually able to get to eating until 6hrs later. Luckily I had given the sandwich away long before. I spent $160 and didn't get a bite.I ordered 3hrs ahead onlineThey are willing to send you away with soup with out a spoon.They won't label sandwiches in group order so each package has to opened by someone else. Makes you wonder how carefully they are about handling food....They aren't. At the Short Pump store that same morning, my wife's meal must have been cross contaminated with the new shrimp on the menu. Of course we have no absolute proof other than with her allergies we recognize the results.Bottom line, if you have go to Panera, don't do a group order, count your stuff before you leave, otherwise it would save a lot of drama and heartache to just grab a banana.
We had lunch on a Sunday. I ordered the grilled cheese with a bowl of tomato soup. The sandwich wasn't grilled like the picture showed, but it was brown around the edges and the cheese was melted. It still tasted good, just wish they'd actually grilled the bread. My wife got a salad with her flatbread pizza which was very good also. The staff were friendly and the interior was clean. There are plenty of tables outside for dining also.

Sandwich was great until I realized the smell wasn’t because of the sandwich. I never ever complain on a review but good god it smelt like whoever made this just got done smoking a cig and made this with no gloves on. One half of my sandwiches literally TASTED like the smell of cigarette and I had to spit it out. Good lord, please make sure your employees wear gloves or have smoke breaks and come back on the line two seconds later. Do better Panera.
I go there at least five times a week sometimes more. all of the staff knows me by name they are super helpful and on top of their game. always a great experience. and of course the food is perfect every time
I am a caregiver for an elderly man. Once a month, every month he has to go for an infusion at Va Cancer. He likes to bring the employees bagels and other goodies from Panera. Every month, we spend hours trying to call the store to place an order. We always try to call them during non busy hours, with no luck. They definitely need to hire someone to manage the phones. Also, his order last month was wrong
Been to this location several times, I d my order ahead for the distance I'm driving. They NEVER NEVER NEVER have my order right. The purpose of takeout,driveup is so you don't have to go in. There's never any cutlery napkins or your drink is missing,you cant assume a person is going home, indoors or that the food is theirs because they ordered it! All while wanting a tip OUTRAGEOUS.
