I had a very delicious steak today. I like it medium rare and it was cooked to my liking and delightfully juicy and tender. The waitress was also understanding of my gluten allergy and was happy to answer my questions and ease any concerns.I'd absolutely come back.

A must try place for everyone who loves traditional Italian food. You walk in and you feel like you’re in grandmas house. The service was great, never ran out of water/drinks. The bread was amazing!!!!! The pasta was amazing!!!! Everything is home made so you have to wait briefly but not too long. The appetizers were greasy and delicious. Good for date night and family events.

Brian is an amazing server and treated my family with so much awesomeness. He was so nice and I appreciated how much detail he put into each question my parents had. My mom, dad, and boyfriend had never been there and after dinner I asked how was the food and they said amazing. Brian you were so kind and the restaurant is so lucky to have you. I want you to know that the service your brought to our table was so great that truly made the experience even better. I hope you continue ue to do amazing and personally I think you were born to serve people.

I have not posted in Trip Advisor since before the Pandemic. Due to Covid as well as death and illness in our family we have just not been out as frequently as we had been when I had over 100,000 people read my comments. Last night my wife and I had a night free of caring for our delightful grandson. We decided on Palermo and we were not disappointed. The evening started with Diego coming over and reviewing the specials. We liked them so much that we just went with the specials. Fried Zucchini appetizer, Stuffed Flounder and a veal chop wrapped in bacon. It was way too much food but every bite was delicious and we have had a lovey lunch today from the take home leftovers. I love Marianna despite some rather snarky reviews picking at her for being a good restaurateur! You do not survive the past 4 years in the restaurant world without being a good business manager. We had a great time and we plan to go more frequently than once or twice a year! Last point, Diego is a great waiter and we enjoyed being served by him!

Food is fine. Nothing amazing. Look at other low reviews and you will see complaints about how the owner dealt with quality issues and also like in my case gift cards that have no expiration written on them and explicitly say they do not expire, but she has no solution when they don’t work. The owner wouldn’t even get on the phone but I could hear her says “nothing we can do” about a gift card they sold with $100 on it that now is worthless. Clearly not a concern to her at all.

I honestly had to wait a day before writing a review to calm myself after the experience last night at Palermo in Midlothian. I have been there on several occasions over the last 8 years and have enjoyed the experience. Last night is the first time I've encountered the older gray haired lady. I would have given this one star but for the kindness of our young server (and the bread) - I will make it two. I will never return to this place. I mistakenly decided to order crab cakes where on the menu the price was listed as $26. When I received the check, it said it was $40 for two not so big crab cakes and two asparagus. I asked my server why the check said $40 and the menu said $26. She went to get the older gray haired lady who apparently is an owner who said her name was Mariana. The lady pointed to a hard to see sticker at the top of the menu that says the seafood will be at market price. And she said "after COVID, you can't get crab cakes for $26." She would not change the price to the price on the menu and proceeded to argue with my friend and ask her 'can you not read'? She was so rude and told us to "pay your checks and leave". Once that lady left, the poor young server came back over and apologized to us in how the owner treated us! (I gave her a nice cash tip) I'll just say -- It's not about the cost of the crab cakes, it's the principle of ensuring your menu is clear and giving proper customer service. My tip to this restaurant -- if it's too expensive to update your menus and put "Market" beside the item, then at a minimum, use a black marker to scratch out the price. Then you won't have this issue. And lastly, do not have this owner customer facing. Something is truly wrong with her and I will never patronize this place again, knowing my money will go into her pockets.

This was our 5th or 6th visit to Palermo and the best experience ever! Despite a totally full dining room on a Saturday night, the service was excellent and our meals among the best Italian we've had in a long, long time. Our table of 4 enjoyed yummy garlic rolls, salads, and entrees plus a nice bottle of Chianti for $120 before tip; very reasonably priced for such well-prepared food, efficient friendly service, and attractive surroundings. Easy parking too! And, there was enough pasta that we enjoyed the leftovers for lunch the next day. We look forward to our next visit!

Love the chocolate mousse cake ? awesome pizza. We live in Powhatan and drive 30 minutes to get pizza from here. Not greasy like all other Italian restaurants. Definitely worth it!! Check this place out!!

My husband Dan and myself came to Palermo's for Valentine's day. Dan ordered the special, filet wrapped in prochudo topped with mushrooms, escarole, and lobster tail. It was the best meal we have ever had! Hands down!

Excellent food and outstanding service!
