What a great meal and experience, the restaurant was very clean and spacious, booths were very comfortable and even for us bigger guys it was very comfortable to sit at. The seafood boils were very tasty, I had the shrimp (head off), mussels, and sausage with potatoes and corn on the cob in a Cajun sauce. It was a lot of great food. I will certainly be coming back soon. As you can see we destroyed our lunch! What a great Father’s Day lunch.
Y'all really need to try this place. My seafood boil was really good and reasonable. It was about $15 for a half pound of sausage and a half pound of pretty big shrimp in garlic butter with medium heat. They have a lot of choices for a boil and other options, like a catfish basket and a crab cake basket. Here's where they need to do some work - The tea is very weak. The salad looked a little spare and the tomatoes in VA in mid-June were pitiful. Our waiter was very attentive and guided us through. He brought plenty of anything we asked for. They have a website and a full menu. I will add some pics of the restaurant from my phone but I was too busy eating to take pics of the food.
I’m pregnant and had a craving for crab legs. Got the crab legs with the special sauce and loved it. My husband had the chicken tender basket. He loved his meal as well. Although, within a couple of hours our stomachs were very gassy and cramping until nature tan it’s course. I’m not sure what may have caused this, but my husband has a pretty touch stomach. We may have to skip out on this one going forward. We can’t risk it being food poisoning or something like that next time. I’ll stick to the crab boil places I know.
Had the feeling it was questionable by the lack of diners. After I had my first bite I could not go on and it was the same with my sons meal. We only ate 1/3 of our meal but still both got sick.
We went there for my birthday and we had a party of 9 people, our server Darryl was awesome and very accommodating. The food was delicious, hot and right on time, didn’t have to wait for food long and we had plenty of appetizers to hold us until the main entree was served. The boils are great and everyone in my party had something different and everyone was pleased with their meal. We will definitely be back, the prices weren’t extreme for the food that was served plus it was delicious, every bite! We loved it!
Great food. Awesome service. When we walk in, server is ready to serve us. A quiet place in general. Seafood is fresh. I highly recommend Fried Catfish!
This Restaurant is absolutely perfect an definitely seafood place of the year!! The waitress Darrel was awesome!!??. The Manager Catherine,was the really cool as well . This place is my new #1 Seafood Restaurant
First time here and the Seafood boil was absolutely amazing, clean inviting atmosphere, friendly staff . Overall a great experience.
HATED IT ….This is why i do my own seafood boils. Don’t nothing grind my gears more than nasty seafood. This was the worrrssseeeeee. My shrimp over cooked , Snow crab legs look and taste like they came out the freezer section of foodlion. Mussels NOT fresh. The corn DEFINITELY from the freezer aisle of a grocery store. The customer service was below average! The onlyyyyyyy thing that was ok was the sauce , a lil salty but good once i added more salt free BUTTER to it. The potatoes was good as hell tho. Price wise they weren’t bad at all $65 for this plate.
