Not at all what we expected for Peking. This location is merely another carry out Chinese spot. The food was not authentic restaurant cuisine, it’s cheaply made carry out with expensive prices. The staff are very friendly, but the food was not great quality. Also it was 45 degrees outside when we had dinner inside and it’s safe to say they cut back on expenses by having the heat off. We were all very chilly. Our hands and ankle were cold. Also we ordered chow mein and it was presented as boiled white chicken with vegetables underneath cabbage mostly. However we’ve always know chow mein noodles to be slightly smaller than lo mein. We were told by staff that it isn’t a noodle. So it was confusion there.
Nice place average food
I would have liked the sauce for my shrimp and scallop dish to have been thicker. It was watery. My delivery order was delivered very quickly, though, probably because it was past dinner time.
Ordered delivery through DoorDash from this place the other night. I was impressed with how quickly the food came. Liked that the entrees were packaged In Plastic packaging. Food arrived warm and was very delicious. We’ve traditionally gone to Jiang’s to satisfy our Chinese cravings, but this might be our new go to spot!
