Just started back as it has changed names a few time's not sure if new owners but the food is good in stead of two bruito's the give you one big one to much food to finish for some of us....
I enjoyed my meal and so did my family every please with everything ???
I get take out from here. Staff is always friendly and helpful even when they're busy. Food is great (and awesome white salsa). Just make sure there is cutlery in your bag if you're going to need it.
We met a group of church friends for dinner. The restaurant was very accommodating. Our server was excellent as were the dinner choices. We had a delicious leisurely meal with great service in a comfortable environment. Enjoy.
Been coming to this place for years. Even though the staff and management have changed a few times it remains one of my favorite spots in the area. They're almost always packed but don't let that deter you! The staff is friendly and works hard to keep things moving quickly. The food is reasonably priced and always tasty. I highly recommend it!
my husband and i went here and the white sauce that came with the chips was amazing. The waitress barely spoke english, but we got by. i ordered shrimp tacos, and liked them a lot. my husband had a big platter, and i dont remember what was n it, but he liked it.
We got a takeout order from Mr. Pepe’s last night and it was probably the worst experience that we’ve had there in 7+ years of eating there. The quality seems to be going downhill here. Not sure if different owners or what. There were several issues wrong with our order. 1) The white sauce was a different recipe, and tasted way too spicy. It did not taste creamy, or flavorful just spicy. 2) The chimichangas had refried beans instead of rice 3) The chimichangas did not have the lettuce, tomatoes, or guacamole on top of them 4) Neither of the kids meals had French fries as requested 5) The order did not include the order of chips/salsa that ordinarily comes with the meal. I was very disappointed with the quality of your food. If you have new chefs, you need to train them better. Additionally, your employees need to do better quality control to make sure this type of food does not come out of the kitchen
Ordered steak fajitas..food comes out and it’s chicken fajitas. I told her this isn’t what I ordered. She goes to kitchen and comes back and says the kitchen had some confusion.. then just stares at me. Doesn’t try to fix it or nothing. Ever since they got new owners, the place has gone down hill. Will go somewhere else.
We have been eating at Mr Pepe (Don Pepe) for 15+ Years and in the last few months I guess they hired a new Chef and the food is no where near what it used to be. Tacos are now more lettuce than anything and everything is now just very bland or mixed half with peppers to compensate. It’ll be a while before my family goes back in hopes the food goes back to the way it was.
After reading so many good reviews we decided to try take out. We were extremely disappointed and of the three meals we ordered not one was good. The only thing we enjoyed was the flan.
