This location has the most beautiful landscape area, with comfortable outdoor seating. A fire pit and tons of seating. Inside its like a magical palace, the walls are filled with amazing portraits of the mellow mushroom ? franchise. Our waiter was super friendly and the food was amazing. I will definitely come back to visit with larger group so we can grab the amazing, unique seating right on front.
First, the restaurant was clean and well staffed. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was excellent and very attentive (Zora). The food was very good and according to my wife, The Sunset in Paradise II from the bar was made with perfection. The only thing...the tea was $2.59, I would have had more than one glass, if I had known. Overall it was a good experience. This was my first time at this location, I would patronize it again.
In my opinion some of the best pizza crust and preparation in the Richmond area. You have a wide variety of toppings (including anchovies!) to put together your perfect pizza. Also typically one of the nicer beer lists for this type of place. Good salads too. What more could you want? Not a fan of their cocktails though, which last time I tried them were not very fresh or creative. Some outdoor seating, too, which is always a win. This location recently did some refreshing, which has made the inside a bit more comfortable.
Definitely one of my favorite places to get a pizza. Something about the dough... so good! We dined in and had a very attentive and fun waiter. Everything came out in a timely matter even with us sitting on the patio. I highly recommend this place!
My first visit was at the Mushroom Yellow on 1409 Huguenot Rd. one recent Saturday. It was very busy, but to me that meant the food had to be good. The wait wasn’t very long, and everything moved along rapidly. I loved witnessing all the young adults hard at work, this was so positive to see. The food was great! The waiter was very attentive. I meet the manager on duty and while there I had the opportunity to meet the owner, not too many places during a busy night will have the owner introducing themselves and collaborating with the guest and staff. This too was pleasing to witness. My visit was more than a meal with family and friends…It was an experience. Special Thanks to Joseph and Isaiah who checked on our wait time, our food, took pictures for us and made my first visit an awesome one!Diane
