I have not been there in years. I got a hot dog and a cheeseburger. The hot dog was fried on the grill and was beefy. Although you can dress it anyway you want, they still do not have chilli and it was $6.00. The burger had two patties and you can dress it from quite a selection of of veggies. I do like that all of the food is hot (including the plentiful fries) but my burger was a little over cooked and had a little too much "crust" on it. Plus they do not season their burgers leaving you to dig through the topping to add salt and/or pepper as needed. The "meal" (cheeseburger, hotdog, small fry and drink) cost around $25.00. I could have gone to a restaurant for a the cost and maybe saved a little money. They do sell a single patty burger that is a little cheaper. They still have free peanuts.
I am usually very satisfied with five guys burgers. I don’t go often because its very expensive for what they provide but every once in a while I treat myself to a burger! They are usually moist and juicy and meaty! But Saturday 4/23/22 these burgers were awful, burnt around the edges and extremely dry! I paid $10 for this burger and it was not edible, I did not return it because I had already made it home and I wasn’t going back! …..With all the people working that night someone should have said “hey you are cooking these burgers to long, you are burning them!” Nooooo, they just slapped on the toppings and bun and sent them on to the customers! Pitiful, it will be a long time before I come back to this location!
The hamburgers no taste, and fries black, it seem been cooked w/ old oil. First time and last time order from here. (Not to mentioned paid almost $30 for double hamburgers and 2 small fries.)
Three times in three months I waited 15+ minutes for a shake, all three times at a nearly empty restaurant, and I can see why. This last time yesterday I just asked for my money back because it's getting ridiculous. All three times some mumbled excuse I could barely understand and probably would not have mattered in the first place. There are some really good Five Guys locations in RVA, this just isn't one of them. Don't waste your time or money here.
Love five guys. From the burgers to the fries. Today is our 55 wedding anniversary. Here we are.
Had a negative experience at this location about 1 month ago, But Emmitt, the Store Manager and Joe, the Shift Manager was extremely helpful, and very accommodating. Great Customer Service. They were more than happy to provide a Replacement Order. Would visit again and again. Great Management!! ?
*******MANAGER THROWS CHEESEBURGER AT 9 MONTH PREGNANT WOMAN****************I’m truly disappointed and disgusted at how this location chooses to handle their employees. My sister who is 9 months pregnant had a cheeseburger thrown at her by the manager on duty yesterday evening. The resolution provided was a personal apology from the employee and a free burger.1. The apology for taking that form of action though respectful doesn’t take away from the disrespectful actions that took place that evening.2. She received her free burger from the manager when he threw it at her.To offer a burger on the house is insulting at this point. Please believe next step actions will take place. CUSTOMERS should be treated with RESPECT not PHYSICAL FORCE.
The burger was really good. The fries were just okay; they gave a lot of them, but they were just kind of soggy and warm-ish without a lot of flavor despite being "Cajun." The bathrooms are 1-person and someone occupied it for a long time, so a lone formed, which seems kind of ridiculous. The staff is friendly and while there was a wait to order (no one in front of us), the food came out relatively quickly. I'll go back, but probably no time soon. $8-$9 for a burger is kind of steep for a diner kind of place, so adding fries and a drink puts you at $17 w/tax + tip, which I did because the staff are very nice and definitely hustling!
I just called the Five Guys at 12413 Tennessee Plz to place an order and they answered the phone and told me to hold. They didn’t place phone on hold and I could hear their conversation. Apparently given that it was close to their closing they didn’t want to take any more orders so they just set the phone down on the counter and tied up the line so that no one else could call in. I hung up tried to call back but received a Verizon message that they were busy. I guess this is not the first time that they have done this but I can assure you that it is the last with me.
Walked in on a sat night at 7 pm 8 employees working all young boys. Told at the register were closed? Doors open and customers inside also told us they are out of foil? Which isn’t true saw plenty. I guess the younger generation can’t work past 7 now?
