We walk in at 7pm most of the chairs are up, we place our order for combos and then I go to get my drink and all the tea is already dumped out and they offer no resolution, I can't have carbonated sodas, your teas is one reason I come. It wasn't very welcoming seemed to be more concerned with closing than customers ? I ordered a new York steamer plain, it wasn't mustard mayo on it. But we had already left to get me something to drink so we didn't go back.
Employee took my Togo order then made my food and tossed it on the counter. I reminded him that it was Togo. He looked at me and said he didn't know it was to go. I told him i need a bag. He Stared at me oddly then another employee had to tell him to put my order of 3 subs in a bag.
Sandwiches are clean fresh and light but filling. This is how a sandwich should taste ?

Ordered the food though DoorDash. We ordered a sweet and spicy meatball sub. I recommend not ordering it because it is way too hot. It was to the point that you couldn't eat the sub. I called back to tell them and asked if I could a regular meatball sub as a replacement. I was told I could and would be able to pick it up in 10- 20 minutes. When I arrived to pick it up the story changed. I was told I I could not get the sandwich. I was very disappointed and frustrated because I was told something different over the phone. My views about Firehouse has changed.
The manager is extremely rude, ingredients do not taste fresh at all, and half were missing from my sandwich. It was good 7 years ago but after trying it for the first time in so long I'm extremely disappointed.
Please train your employees to change food service gloves and often. I saw a worker using the cash register, then touch his hat and face and then touch meat and various other foods. It's highly unsanitary. I also didn't see any of the people making sandwiches change their gloves after touching various non food surfaces like a refrigerator handles etc.
They have the best subs an the staff is very friendly
Stood in front of their register for 5-10 min while they filled online orders instead.Your customers standing in store are more important than online orders!!
