Enjoyed the food very much. The waiter was excellent.

Great food and great service ????

Loved their chips and dip!

Where to start? The creativity that's in the place is amazing! I love the Chihuahua Bar and all the painting/pictures of the doggies. I love the painting if the dog with the bay-yang lol. So much art that comes with this place!! Palm trees...the party room...and hub cap room! The bartender (I can't remember her name) gave us a nice tour of the restaurant. The food was pretty good. I ordered a beef burrito with ranchero sauce. I would go back again.

Small and cute. LOTS of decor which I kind of thought was a little too much for the space, but that's my opinion. Food was okay. Service was decent. Not terrible, but not mind blowing either. Honestly, it's not going to be in my top 5 Mexican places. Maybe top 10.

The quality has really went down at both the Midlothian and Short Pump location. We really liked this place when they both opened. The menu is much reduced and has no lunch section. However, my main issue is the food temperature. The food has been room temperature since the pandemic started. Even cold drinks really are not that cold. It gives the food a dry and salty taste when it or the plates are never hot anymore. It’s empty when I have went over the past two years, but the servers can’t seem to keep their booths, floors, or tables, clean. I hope both locations are able to get past the down falls of the pandemic and get back to normal.

I used to LOVE going to Chuy's. The food was always excellent, served with a smile and an upbeat atmosphere/music AND they had an extensive menu. Now, the menu is pretty drab to say the least (i.e., How about adding some flair like: shrimp fajitas; pork carnitas; fish tacos; huevos rancheros; quesabirria) the prices are too high; they don't serve sour cream with enchiladas? (have to pay extra); and the food and sauces are just NOT that good anymore. The enchilada was dry and the rice and beans tasted a little like plastic/out of a can or just cheaply made. There are several places in the area that are better and check all the boxes with much better prices. #1 Improve the atmosphere #2 Add a lunch menu with more "lunch-like" options #3 Expand and Improve the taste of the food.

The food is not authentic. The staff could be nicer. Overall experience would be 0 stars. I have been here twice the 1st time I really thought they were having a bad day but now I know that they just don’t treat their customers well. I am a person of color and there isn’t one person of color in the building. So if you want unseasoned food come here.

Gotta try the Tex Mex Rita

My favorite Mexican joint so far since moving to Richmond two years ago. Salsa and chips are great. Enchiladas are good. Prices are average. Better than many so called authentic Mexican places.
