I’ve eaten at Brick House before - both dine in and carry out and the food has always been pretty good. They get very busy and it’s not a very big space so sometimes it’s not perfect but that’s fine. But today i had a HORRIBLE carry out experience for breakfast. I get that they’re busy but they were screwing up my order from the start. I got there, picked up my order and walking to the car realized it didn’t seem like there were enough containers in the bag. So I went back in, told them about it. They said they’d get the missing omelet made up for me. I voiced concern about the other items getting cold and they took them back to the kitchen area to “keep them hot” while I wait. All ok so far. Not great but things happen. After a bit they brought me my order. It had the right number of containers and the right things were written on them. I get home and first of all , 2 of the 3 meals were stone cold (in my car they were in an insulated bag for the 6 minute drive home). But worst of all, the box marked Biscuits & Gravy combo had no biscuits & no gravy. Just home fries & 2 eggs. So I call the restaurant, tell them about the new problem and am told that a manager will call me back that afternoon. Since by that point it would be too late to really fix anything I drive back to the restaurant with the non-biscuits & gravy, leaving my partner to reheat the other items so she and her father can at least go ahead and eat. I get there and the manager comes to process a refund on the biscuits & gravy. The same manager that I was told was too busy because they were “working the line in the kitchen”. THAT is what infuriated me. I should not have had to drive all the way back just to talk to someone to try and fix this. By that point I was done and we definitely won’t be returning. Mistakes happen. It’s how you try to fix them that’s the key and Brick House failed on that across the board.
Absolutely one of the best places for breakfast or brunch/lunch. They have an extensive menu with many delicious choices. The staff are very friendly and attentive. If needed, they are willing to modify an offering. Servings are generous. They have a lot of parking, but it can still get full at times.

The food is always delicious! I had the BHD Crab Benedict and that was fantastic! The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 is: the sausage was a little over-cooked and all the girls working there looked miserable like they didn't want to be there which I understand but but give me a smile please. Also disappointed the last time I was there I wasn't served breakfast because they stop breakfast at 10:45 on weekdays which is unusual for a diner.
Great food, speedy service and nice staff. We will definitely return!
Second time eating here, and both times were great experiences. But y’all. I’m going to give a huge shoutout to the waitress, Ruth. Her energy is exactly what will make customers return. Just having her as my waitress completely impacted me in a way no other server has. She’s a doll, and a shining star and really made my life feel a little less heavy while I was there. ♥️♥️

Great place for breakfast, brunch and whatever else you are craving. Food is always freshly made to order and from scratch. Highly recommended.
