My wife and I have ordered take out from here a few times so Friday we decided to dine in. The wait wasn't bad for 7pm on a Friday it was about 15-20 minutes. The drinks came out super quick. The appetizers came out a few minutes later. The entrees didn't take much longer. The Alfredo was delicious and the chicken parm was on point. Would 100% recommend to anyone!Also their Chicago style pizza is really good, not the same as authentic Chicago style but still amazing.
We waited over 15 minutes until we were waited on or even got drinks, and that wasn't until we said something. The host never told the waiter he was supposed to wait on our table. The waiter was really friendly and attentive once he knew he was serving us. The meals took a long time to come out, but the food was pretty good. The downfall in service tonight really was the host, him and another employee just sat at the host stand all night playing on their phones. If it was just our family, it wouldn't have been too big of a deal, but we had out-of-town guests, and they were really disappointed.
I ordered food to go. The service was excellent and the Chicken Parmigiana was not bad. Next time I would like to try the pizza since it looked pretty good.
This is just simply a 'hidden gem' of an Italian Restaurant. It is possibly one the best in Virginia, Period. They get it right--the lasagna--and I come every now and then with friends who have spent their careers in D.C., and they are very impressed by the food and the hard working servers each time spent here.
Sunday afternoon lunch. What we liked; 1) Plenty of free parking 2) Clean restrooms--space heater in the women's but not the men's, so my hubby tells me. So comfortable in there I felt like hanging out. 3) Warm, soft fragrant bread with whipped butter. So good. 4) Delightful, attentive service from Crystal. Thank you Crystal. 5) Comprehensive menu. Everybody is happy. 6) I can't say enough good things about the menu. Everything is fresh, cooked properly, attractive, hot or cold as required. Everything we put in our mouths was delectable. I ordered linguine with clams. No regrets other than that I wish I could have finished it. Large portions. Enough for two meals. 7) Margaritas are $4 on Sunday, and they are GOOD. 8) Prices are market rate. We spent $49.29, which includes tax, for two entrees, one cocktail, one beer. What we didn't like: Nothing Would we return? Absolutely yes.
Bread and salad was amazing. But it stops there. Shrimp scampi was mound of noodles with maybe 6 to 8 shrimps. Stromboli was ok food wasnt really flavored. Didnt finished our food. Our sever isabella was really nice wasnt her fault our experience was blah

Ordered deep dish pizza it was very good could have used some more sauce but had good flavor. The strawberry alcohol soft serv ice cream was delicious. Very well balanced. Would return
