Italian Pizza Salad

It’s 5 am in the morning. I came here Friday night after my massage. This was my second time the coming here. The first time I got a salad the chicken had no taste. I came out and the lady said oooo so good. So I give places second tries. I regret it that night I got so sick like severe sweating and going to the bathroom like it was a laxative or poison put in my stomach. I ate the pasta from here and oatmeal that morning and something simple for lunch. How do I know it was them my sister ate my food I never got to throw it out. She had the same issues even worst. Someone did something to my food or something wasn’t sanitary or the cook possibly sick . I will be requesting my money back from my bank. Will NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. I’m not trying make any accusations of race here but I was the only of my culture in that restaurant that evening. I do know this is where we got sick from.

All of the food was fantastic! And the service was absolutely wonderful, we had a really great time!

We showed up unannounced with 40 in our group after a memorial service and mix-up with which location was actually reserved. This Mechanicsville location took it in stride and our server Makenzie took wonderful care of our family and the larger group as a whole. Even with our group filling the entire front banquet room, all of the servers worked as a team and our meals were on time, hot and simply scrumptious! Hats off to the front of the house as well as the back of the house pulling off such a heavy lift with no notice and still had the ability to smile and make us feel welcomed, cared for and special!

It's been a long time coming for this review but I finally have the time for it. My wife and I recently got married back in September 2021 and had our dinner here at the Roma Restaurant in Mechanicsville. To further go into details, let me back it up real quick. We got engaged earlier in February 2021 and were planning on getting married in 2022. One thing led to another, with an incredibly booked wedding season in 2022 due to the pandemic, crazy scheduling, and a couple episodes of family drama later, we realized our best bet was to get married THIS YEAR. Crazy and ambitious, we set out to get this short noticed wedding planned ASAP. On top of all of this, we're also pretty frugal and wanted to pay for this wedding ourselves without taking on date. We decided on a date that worked for everyone and finally found a spot for our ceremony at the Polegreen Church, but we only had it for half the day as it was booked for a rehearsal dinner. We decided to roll with it and find a place to host our dinner. Trying not to venture out too far from the ceremony site, we stumbled across Roma as we've ate at another location previously and liked it and it was perfect that it has a banquet room with enough room to host our guests as we were doing a small wedding. I reached out to Roma about reserving this room and Philip got back to me very quickly. Of course we had a ton of questions and were super needy and he has been super kind and patience everytime we have contacted him with anything and getting his input on decisions. He even let us do an impromptu tour of the banquet rooms (they're both beautiful btw and actually became a challenge when deciding LOL) When it came down to show time, they didn't even break a sweat springing into action making sure the biggest day of our lives were perfect. After our beautiful ceremony was over, everyone headed over to the restaurant and we were so excited to see how beautiful everything was set up to our liking. (I'm telling you I felt like we were super needy especially with crazy last minute changes/requests and they freaking nailed it perfectly without skipping a beat.) Everyone enjoyed the food and our servers were incredibly kind and attentive. We did a beautiful champagne toast and they cut our cake, served it, and packed up the extras up and everything. I was at a loss of words of how perfect everything was. Philip, our servers, the kitchen staff, and everything involved at Roma really knocked it out of the park and that's an understatement. After all is said and done, the final bill was more than reasonable and was shocked at how affordable that whole dinner was. With the level of quality and service, this was definitely a bargain. If you managed to read up to this point from this wall of text, if you're planning to have a dinner party and are considering to have it here at Roma's. DO IT. You will not regret it.Thank you again Roma for giving us an unforgettable experience!

Every time we travel back and fourth to NJ from South Carolina we eat here. Last time was a few days before Thanksgiving and we met the owners wife and his brother. Great service and very friendly. The veal and eggplant are excellent. We are heading to NJ tomorrow to spend time with family.we are already planning to have our dinner at Romass. Can't wait, if I could I would give them 10 stars. See you tomorrow.

The manicotti is the best from what our table ordered...

I had the veal piccata and husband had veal Parmesan. Both were excellent, the cannoli was also good.

100% Glad we ordered from here. Just moved to Mechanicsville and have had a hard time finding awesome food. But in this place the $20 pasta is actually worth it - based on the blackened chicken pasta primavera. The pesto panini is also delicious. We got pick up, so the fried food was a bit soggy. But the seasoning and quality of the other food completely made up for it. First time we went there, we'll definitely go back.

It was delightful. Our waitress was excellent. The food was delicious and plentiful. I will definitely return to this location.

Had wife's birthday gathering there. Excellent customer service and food was great
