We had delicious dinners, there were 5 of us and everyone loved it! My favorite is the pasta zengara!
Pasta House is always consistently good. The atmosphere is very enjoyable with white table clothes and cozy, quiet feel. Great for date night - you can actually hear each other while having a conversation, instead of the loud, chaotic noise of most restaurants now-a-days. Would highly recommend it!
Terrible. Felt unwelcome. Sauce for pasta was akin to ketchup. Patrons at a table close by spoke quite loudly about racist ideology. Just terrible. Ended up getting the food packed up to go. Could not stay because I felt like a complete outsider. It truly felt like 1950 and not 2022.

Pasta was excellent. Little to much lemon but that is personal. Husband loved it. Little disappointed there was no bread. Definitely going back there to try more different dishes.
2 hrs from reservation time to getting food. Had to flag people down just to place an order. No one ever checked for drink refills. The food was okay, but not great. Daughter's pasta dish was burnt.
The food was good, the service was a bit slow. Had to ask multiple times for something only for our waitress to forget and we had to keep asking or ask other wait staff.
The food was delicious we went for the first time for Mother’s Day and we were not disappointed.
I have been dining at the Pasta House for several years. I have always had a good meal. A lot of choices from the menu and the service is very good. Love to support local, so for me, this is the go to Italian Restaurant in Mechanicsville. Other Italian restaurants in the area will be cheaper, but for the small amount more you pay, you get a much better meal.
