Excellent meal and genuine hospitality. It was an amazing experience and we highly recommend More than Greek. It is obvious why they are rated the #1 restaurant in Mechanicsville
The place is not at all fancy, wine and beer choices are very limited, but the food was okay and the prices were reasonable. However, for the first time in my life (I'm 76) our party of 4 like aged people got reprimanded for being too loud. Maybe carpet on the floor, tablecloths on the tables, drapes at the windows and more room between tables would help to dampen the echo in the place. I will never eat there again.
Luckily met the owner a few weeks back as I didn’t know about this wonderful little Greek gem! Staff was so friendly, ambience was great, and most importantly the food was wonderful. Will be back!

We were really looking forward to trying this place because one of my husband's coworkers recommended it. We came in for dinner, and the service was very good, but we were really disappointed with the food. Our meal started off well with a very tasty Greek salad and warm pita. However the entrees were not what we expected. We ordered a moussaka and pastichio, both of which (much to our surprise) were completely covered in tomato sauce. I have had both these dishes numerous times at other Greek restaurants and prepared by Greek friends, and I have never seen either dish prepared with tomato sauce. The food didn't taste bad, it just wasn't at all what we were expecting so the flavors were a little weird for me. The moussaka was also slightly cold in the middle. My husband said the pastichio just tasted like regular lasagna and didn't have much ground beef. We ordered a baklava for dessert which was soggy and not fresh at all. Now that being said, many people seem to enjoy their gyros, which we didn't try. So I would still be willing to give this place a second chance for lunch. But if you are looking for authentic Greek dinner entrees, this may be disappointing to you. Much more Italian flavors than Greek.

Great little restaurant. Between the family we had Greek spaghetti, med platter, Greek nachos, and a kids pizza. Everything was amazing. Great service. We will absolutely be returning.
More Than Greek is delicious! I like to try something new each time, and so far the Greek Lemon chicken has been my favorite. I appreciate how they are still doing curbside service, and they are always very friendly and helpful on the phone. And the mini baklavas are so yummy too!
Love the food here! My wife and I go for lunch all the time. Had a stuffed meatloaf that was a special last weekend that was delicious! Awesome desserts as well. Love the Galaktoboureko, I get it almost every time I eat here.
First time ordering, ordered two simple gyro subs with lamb. Told ready in 10, was there very shortly after. Both subs were cold not even luke warm. Besides having to reheat my ordered food, it had a good flavor. Doubtful my household will be ordering here again any time soon.
